I've been a customer of Perkins since 2010 when I purchased a car from them and have been servicing the car with them ever since. Nothing but praise as far as I'm concerned. They have been a great company to deal with over the past 14years . I consider myself fortunate to have found this garage after so many bad experiences with others in the past . MG Perkins guaranteed my safety after a fault with the usb ports melting while driving the car it nearly caught fire and has blown out the whole wiring harness costing around £3000 mg assured me of the vehicles safety and that the damage wouldn't be affected or made worse by driving it however this isn't true and when complaining about this issue to the manager I am told we don't give guarantees refusing to admit they put our lives at risk! I was guaranteed the car was safe and it was not! this could of cost our lives and when confronted with this Manager is very rude, dismissive and is manipulating the whole situation! Steer well clear of MG Perkins!
Honestly couldn’t be a better place to order parts been getting bits and pieces from here and the most reliable people ever been a massive help getting my car back on the road.
I selected Perkins Garages for the second year, low mileage, service of my MG EV. I was very impressed with the help, advice and service I received. The booking was made ad hoc i.e. not via a Service Plan and was very competitive compared to the price quoted by the dealership where I had purchased the car. I also booked a courtesy car whilst mine was being serviced. The car provided was clean, tidy and everything worked satisfactorily. My experience with this service was so good I decided to take out a 4 year MG Service Plan with Perkins Garages being my nominated dealer. Perkins is not the closest MG dealership to my home, but I consider that taking the longer journey there, is well worth while, in order to be somewhere that has friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff and gives you confidence that your car is in good hands.
Was treated with respect, given a courtesy car while mine was being serviced pre-arranged and accommodated my need to have the car ready in 2.5 hours, which it was. Also, was provided with a short video of the inspection of the brakes and suspension and tyre condition. They're good at what they do.
Recently got a MG ZS from them, great service from the team especially Alan who was my point of contact. But of a delay getting the car due to world shortage of chips but was kept updated through the process. First MG I’ve had and so far so good!
Excellent service received here! Prompt & courteous response from booking the car in, arranging courtesy vehicle and keeping me advised to collecting it afterwards. Friendly, knowledgeable & most helpful staff too - thanks!
Brought a van from them, couldn’t of been any more helpful, gave me really price on my part exchange. No pressure sales, let me look over the van in my own time. They even helped deliver the vehicle to my home. Definitely recommend.
