Tree Tops Scandinavian houses offer self catering accommodation and 8 fly fishing lakes in Llanfynydd valley situated in North East Wales.

Story

Tree Tops is situated overlooking Llanfynydd valley which is in the foothills of North East Wales. It is 20 minutes from Chester, 45 minutes from Snowdonia, 8 minutes from Mold, 12 minutes from Wrexham and 25 minutes from Llangollen. The beauty of Tree Tops brings visitors back from year to year with its glorious countryside views. Llanfynydd is a charming unspoilt village with a post office/general store and the 16th century Cross Keys Inn which serves food 6 days per week. When at Tree Tops there is the feeling of being away from it all yet it is within easy travelling distance of A roads and motorways.
Thera are two Scandinavian style houses and one garden apartment:-
1. SCANDINAVIAN STYLE HOUSES are situated on the edge of the Cegidog river valley which is heavily wooded so the bird life is varied and prolific being very easily viewed from the private elevated verandah of each house. Downstairs each house has a diner/lounge/kitchen, a shower, a wash basin/toilet room and a twin bedded bedroom. Upstairs there are two twin bedded bedrooms. All rooms are equipped to Wales Tourist Board 4 star standard and inspected every year. Next to each house is a reserved parking space, more parking is available on the large car park thirty yards away. Both houses have their own barbeques.
2. THE GARDEN APARTMENT is a wing of the owner's house, however it has its own private entrance and outside area with beautiful views of the surrounding fields and hills. Inside you will find an entrance hall from which the large shower room is accessed and through another door you enter the lounge/diner/kitchen area which has three windows overlooking the private outside area previously mentioned. From the lounge area you walk into the two bedrooms, one has a double bed and single bed and the other has three single beds. Each bedroom has deep windows overlooking the garden. All rooms are equipped to Wales Tourist Board three star standard and inspected every year.
Brand new for Nov 2017:- Lake View Log House 5 star Wales Tourist Board graded, sleeps 10 has a 10 hp hot tub which seats 10 people. Private lake to enjoy walking. Roofed full width balcony to enjoy the fabulous views.
Our charges include heating, electricity, wifi, towels and bed linen.
People who book our accommodation do so for every reason you can think of e.g. holiday, touring beautiful North Wales and neighbouring English counties, shopping facilities are excellent in the area, visiting relatives, working in the area, house moves, attending family celebrations such as weddings or christenings, Christmas/New year stays are very popular as our accommodation is very cosy with its full central heating and then there are people who just book so that they can walk a few yards to fish our wonderful lakes.
FLY FISHERY:-
The eight lakes for fly fishing tier down the hillside which overlooks Hope mountain so the views are magnificent. The lakes are stocked with rainbow trout. Tickets for 4 hours, 6 hours and 8 hours are available and can be either ones where you may take fish or a sporting ticket where you may return fish. If you wish to hire a rod or book tuition please telephone first - tel number is 01352 770648. The quality of the water ensures an excellent fly life including damsel nymphs, mayflies, hawthorns, sedge etc. We are open from 8am to dusk/10pm, however if you wish to fish after 5pm a telephone call is essential to book your ticket. We are open everyday, however from 23 September to 16 February we are open weekends only.
