Tucked away in the middle of a residential area, this is a great location. Booked for a meal whilst visiting family in the area. The team were super helpful and attentative. We could bring the dog in with the 5 of us dining. Starters mains dessert and the drinks were brilliant for quality and price. Everything was clean and tidy. Service overall was brilliant, no fault at all. The bar areas were busy and had dinners and those drinking - really nice place to visit.
Very welcoming village local, staff were genuinely friendly, helpful and attentive. The amount of choices on the menu was very impressive including Gluten Free options and the food on arrival was as impressive both in quality and quantity. A couple of Real Ales were available both of which did not disappoint. If you are anywhere within striking distance you must visit you will not be disappointed with this excellent hostelry.
Called in for a meal after a very tough day and long walk nearby and what a cracking little place this is. The staff in particular make this what it is, they are amazing and the food was spot on. Now we've found you we'll be back when we're in the area. Thank you. 5*
Very nicely cooked, filling lunch in a lovely old village pub. Reasonable selection of beers and wines with Taylor's Landlord and Neck Oil IPA besides the usual lager and cider options. Not sure it's actually a hotel.
Visited with my daughter and 3 children to be told that they only had one chef working and could not provide us with food. They stop taking orders at 7.30pm, no flexibility or sympathy that we had walked 20 minutes to get to the pub.
