This cinema is a pleasure to visit. I love that they are working to preserve the history of theatre and can give us those experiences of how films were intended to be seen when they were originally shown. We went to see Interstellar in 70mm and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Afterwards we were welcomed into the projection room, where we were shown how the movie was projected using reels of film and the complex systems used to operate these. I would highly recommend anyone to go to this cinema to enjoy these limited experiences.
Used Parkway a few time and it never disappoints. More affordable for a family day out with snacks and drinks been very reasonable. Lovely local cinema with comfortable seats. Already planning another visit. Friendly staff always happy to help
Perfect little cinema. Nice comfy seats and half the price of the new cinema. I will always choose here over the larger company. Its part of barnsley and needs to stay open. And why pay double to see the same film elsewhere when you can come here and get a lovely welcome
Had the best time tonight, friendly staff, nice popcorn and cheap tickets!! There was a guy who was being a nuisance, he was swiftly and efficiently dealt with without disturbing our movie. The staff are a credit to the establishment, we will be returning.
You can keep your hi tech cinema, I like the nostalgic look. The staff are friendly and helpful. We need to keep something left in Barnsley that show’s Barnsley history

Fantastic little cinema, used it for years. TOP GUN followed by MAVERICK. Brilliant to watch one after the other. First time I've ever seen the original on the big screen too.
Enjoyed our visit. Needs support from the public now cineworld in town...then could be spruced up a bit. Nice to meet the manager beforehand as well. Hope it can keep going in the future. Will be back.
