Big clean cinema with really helpful friendly staff. Unfortunately, none of the self-service touch screen ticket machines were working when I visited, so there was a queue to buy tickets. However, no biggie as the queue moved quickly. The seats are large and very comfortable, toilets very clean, loads of usual snacks and drinks too. The cinema is surrounded by lots of food places, so the car park is huge and free. There is a pizza express right next door, perfect for a pre movie meal. As a solo visitor, when i bought 1 ticket, I was given 2 seats so that no one sat next to me. Nice touch!
LIVID I AM LIVID. I went to watch back to black on the 26th for April and I didn't get let in without I'd. I understand that even though I think it's ridiculous how you are expected to bring your passport or birth certificate to a cinema ESPECIALLY in DONNY. anyway what I am appalled by is the fact the told me I should get a refund and when I try they say they can't refund me in cash. Then they suggest I email for a refund and I do so TWICE. the first time it didn't go through and the second time they left mr on read. DONT COME HERE IF YOU DONT WANT TO LOOSE YOUR MONEY ABSOLUTE THEVES. THIS IS CALLED DAYLIGHT ROBBERY!
Just been to see excellent movie Back to Back but experience marred by being so cold. The temperature in screen 1 was absolutely Baltic. It was warmer outside than in the cinema!
Just been to see back to black. It's such a shame that a good experience was spoilt by having to sit in a freezing cold screen. It was so uncomfortable. When we walked out after the film which was great it was warmer in the foyer
So it is the 1st day of 2024 and my dad took me, my mum and my bf to watch aquaman 2. We had a lovely afternoon. We got a lot of munch spent like £100 just on food and got vip seats. There was no-one sat next to us or or in front of us the entire time. I have hip problems from an accident I had so I placed my legs in my bfs lap. That's when one of the not too pleasant staff came over and demanded I take my feet off in a disgusting manner saying that she wouldn't want my disgusting feet next to her head and that this is her first and last warning. I'm sorry, but I literally leave 100s of pounds at this place yearly just so an 17-18 years old miserable child can come and speak to me like I'm some lowlife. No thanks. Let's not even mention that the staff can't even count at the counter. Payed for 3 drinks and got only one cup. Had to argue and repeatedly get them to read the recipe. Honestly I wouldn't recommend this place. I'll be going to a different cinema from now on.
