I stayed at this hotel with my family, and we had a very pleasant experience. The hotel felt safe and family-friendly, making it a good choice for guests traveling with children.nnThe rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the housekeeping service was very good. However, the minibar wasn’t working when I arrived. I reported the issue, but the replacement minibar also didn’t work, which was disappointing.nnThe breakfast offered a good variety of options, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel is also located right next to Lambeth North Underground station, which is a major advantage for getting around London.nnThe staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. One aspect I didn’t particularly like was the swimming pool, as it was quite small compared to those at other hotels. // added note // 3 Days no one came to clean the room after complaining to the receptionist, i was told that they can only clean the room the next day!nnA big plus was that the room had air conditioning, which made a significant difference during our stay in London in July. The hotel was also quiet, making it a comfortable place to relax. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, especially for families looking for a safe, convenient, and comfortable place to stay.
Very nice hotel. We stayed in a executive double with a view. The room is very modern with great amenities. The hotel is modern and staff very attentive. The hotel is located very close to great transport links, 5 minutes walk to Waterloo. A stones throw away from great places to eat and drink with great atmospheres. Local shops with snacks, drinks etc. The rooms have great controls for lights, aircon, curtains. Will love to stay again
First of all, we would like to thank Mr. Thomas, the receptionist. He was very helpful and polite. The hotel owner should give him a raise. As for the hotel itself, we stayed for 4 nights. It was a very nice hotel in every respect. It was quite clean. We had a problem with the room on the first night, but it was resolved immediately. The location is excellent. It's a 5-6 minute walk to Big Ben. In short, we had a wonderful stay.
Really lovely hotel right by Southbank. Easy to get around central London from here due to the proximity to Waterloo & Lambeth North stations. My room was clean and nice although a little maintenance wouldn’t hurt, the hotel has a pool, and all the amenities one would expect.nnThe standout for me was the service. All of the staff were so kind and incredibly helpful. I was staying alone and they helped me bring my luggage to / from my room, and also stored it for me after I checked out. They were always friendly and very prompt in resolving issues. The breakfast is okay - it was a classic English breakfast £25. A little overpriced for the selection, but the food tasted nice.nOverall, I’d highly recommend this hotel.
I stay at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge down the road regularly. This one is slightly further away. The rooms are well appointed though the studios are half the size of the studios at Westminster Bridge and no bath tubs. Showers only. The bathrooms are also significantly smaller and not sure I like the set up of the toilet and shower cubicle with the sliding door. Clever but also a bit weird. I have to say the hotel staff were very kind to offer me a free upgrade without my requesting it. That is a huge bonus and compliment. Breakfast is great, what you would expect from a Park Plaza and the breakfast staff are so nice and so welcoming. I would say more tourists here than business travellers. Not a bad spot on the whole.
