The food was absolutely lovely. Prices are very reasonable and they have specials from 12pm I think it is through the week. It also has a lovely Christmas atmosphere this month. Staff were helpful & polite. I'd definitely go back for a meal here. It's really nice.
Called in to have a pint and stayed for a late lunch. Glad I did as the meal was great: well presented and hot. Very chatty and friendly people for whom nothing was too much trouble. Also, pleasant surroundings. Plenty of parking. Recommend a visit.
Great atmosphere, lovely friendly staff, Sonya our server was so lovely and happy to help us. The food was absolutely beautiful, we had a great time, was so busy but our table of 13 didn't wait long for food, would definitely recommend it to anyone. X
Really good food, in fact I would go as far as saying this was the best cooked steak I’ve had in a pub for a very long time & the wife’s gammon sizzle was superb. What more can you ask for with great hospitality from a very friendly & efficient Rosie & the rest of the team.
Went last night, we shared a chicken platter for which only the nuggets had anything that resembled tasting like chicken in and my son had 1 mouthful of rock hard microwaved lasagna then spent the rest of the evening wanting to throw up! I thought he was exaggerating so I had a mouthful and immediately felt sick too!!! Would not recommend or return if you paid me
This is our local favourite for pub food, always try to accommodate when they’re busy, friendly staff & good tasty food. Indoor and good outdoor seating if the weather is fine. Good parking or public transport on the doorstep too.
Absolutely brilliant service from Emma and her team! Always greeted by a warm smile! Always make me and my son feel very welcome!
Used to love going here in the past years but it seems management has changed and it's not as good as it used to be. Menu items are not as nice and some food was frozen when it arrived and smelt very unpleasant. Actually made us gag from how awful it was. The service was overall very unfriendly compared to what it used to be. We probably won't be back as its a shame we went here often a few years ago.
Absolutely lovely staff. Can't fault anything. Food was lovely too! Well worth visiting. Ps it was lovely and warm. Just perfect!
Called in very late after Xmas shopping and yhe kitchen and staff couldn't if been nicer they fitted us in just before the kitchen was closing but s5ill served amazing food rib eye steak was cooked to perfection and the chicken skewers wrap couldn't fault any of it beautiful will call again
