The Beaconsfield offer a fantastic choice of coffee and snacks. We are a contemporary local situated on the Low Fell trading circuit in Gateshead. We have a great sport following, with Sky Sports shown on no less than five plasma TV's (one in 3D). We have a lovely decked area to the front of the pub, which is the perfect place to relax and watch the world go by.

I am a regular here , it is a wonderful friendly traditional pub , the staff are excellent and I love the food . The food is excellent value and I've never had anything to complain about Absolute bargain Cheaper than McDonald's and far superior . Dietary restrictions: They always ask about allergies when you order your food which I think is excellent
I come to this pub often, I feel it’s time to write a review after today’s lovely experience. The food is pub grub, always hot and tasty but just what you’d expect from a pub. It comes quick, and you can’t argue with the price. The pub itself was quite busy for a weekday afternoon, we came as a group of 7 from work. Harry made sure we were all tendered to quickly and was very helpful and attentive. The atmosphere was very nice and chilled. Concerning he was working front of house alone he did an amazing job and we would like to give him his praises. Thank you!
It is what it is. Solid Greene King pub with the prices of a pint exceeding £5. Make sure you download the Green King Sport app for 10% off during sports and a free welcome drink. Wednesdays are the best with the 'build a burger' deal only a fiver. This Greene King bookends Low Fell, the other being The Gold Medal which offers much more variety for food and offers.
Cracking atmosphere, service is always fast even on the busiest days, Aidan is an absolute legend with the best crack, always up for a laugh. Even crafted us some random drinks and they weren’t half bad to be quite frank.Food: 5/5

Our regular haunt used to be the Gold Medal but this place is the polar opposite. The welcoming staff here create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere with prompt, professional service. Have occasionally eaten here and the food is great value and very good quality. I can highly recommend the breakfast bun for a quick snack but the food on main menu is also excellent. Well worth a visit.
