A small restaurant in the centre of Stratford. It has a nice cosy feel inside. The menu has a good selection, and there were specials to choose from too. The waitress served our drinks quickly but did not come to take our food order for over 40 minutes which was disappointing. The food was lovely when it arrived; we had chicken and steak medallions. For dessert we had sticky toffee pudding and 70% dark chocolate which were both delicious.
Amazing food and friendly polite service! Love the added personal touch of a birthday card from the restaurant as we booked for my sister's 30th birthday meal. All food was fresh and hot and absolutely delicious. It was a cosy restaurant and popular mid week.
Such a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Absolute credits to the staff they were very helpful and nice. The Food was amazing and so was the choice of wine. There was a set menu available and a choice of cocktails. Very clean too. Can absolutely recommend to anyone fancying some wine and good food. Prices were mostly reasonable
Great restaurant in the beautiful Stratford-upon-Avon. I went there with my partner for lunch without booking in advance and we were lucky to find a table available. We ordered from the lunch menu as you could get two courses for £19 per person. The chicken wings were extremely nice and the additional blue cheese sauce and celery sticks were balancing the dish very well. As a main dish I had a fennel sausage ragu pasta and my partner had a courgette, spinach and sun blushed tomatoes risotto. Both were very nice and flavoursome. We'll definitely go there again.
Fantastic. Service was excellent. Really enjoyed our meal. Definitely over ordered but how could you not with such a brilliantly varied menu. The highlights for me was the soup of the day, cauliflower and blue cheese with toasted sour dough. Plus the tandoori scallops. Although slightly under seasoned, after a pinch of salt that dish was fabulous. Highly recommended this place if you are in the area. Karolina looked after us like royalty. I shall return! Ps.. Try the French martini.
My wife and I have had 2 special occasion meals at loxleys. Both times, the food, the staff, the decor, everything here has had care and a high level of attention to detail, and as a result, dining here is a calming and romantic experience. With some really thoughtful touches too, like a card for our anniversary on the table, really really lovely! The varied menu has some year round staples like the château briand with some seasonal changes for other dishes. A broad ranging wine list covering all pallets, and the cheese list offered some interesting British takes on continental cheeses, plus some staple French appearances. Highly recommended, we will continue to come back, and get excited every single time we do so.
We had lunch at Loxleys Restaurant and wine bar while visiting Stratford upon Avon. Loxleys is a bit pricey but food was excellent. We had a Steak Sandwich and Sausage Ragu. Staff were really good also. The decor fits with the upmarket wine bar vibe . I would recommend and visit again.
An amazing experience spent with 2 friends on Saturday 17th Sept. Beautiful interior, superb food well presented, a good selection of wines, a menu for most tastes, although few vegetarian choices. Our waitress Tegan was exemplary! Polite, friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and very professional. I would love to visit again one day!
2nd time visiting and it was just as good as the first time. Josh, our friendly waiter was very attentive and made sure we had what we needed. Gorgeous food and beautifully presented. The next time we're in Stratford, we will definitely book again. Thank you also for my Birthday card, what a lovely gesture. x
Absolutely Fantastic. No other words and the best place in Stratford for Sunday lunch, or any day of the week. We have visited Loxley’s over the years and it’s remarkable how consistent the quality and fantastic service is! Our favourite restaurant by far.
