Ever since the new management took over I feel this place has gone down hill. The staff always seem to change, the bouncers are really rude, the quality of the drinks just aren’t what they used to be. Such a shame as it used to be my go to venue. Used to spend good money here but feel there are better places in town where staff are keener for my business.
Great job to the village inn security guards!!! The one sober designated driver didn’t get let in because they were excited to line up. Next time we’ll look like we’re having a bad time so we can get let in to the club. :Food: 1/5
Let me tell you the bouncer that does not work here anymore Alex!!! Stepped in and stopped an absolute creep that kept harassing me, I told multiple bouncers nobody did anything. He stepped in and got him kicked out. They need to bouncers that will protect us women.Service: 5/5
I wanted to visit this place with my friends. They wouldn't let me in. They let my friends in because I was Asian. I don't understand why this racism happens in a city like Birmingham, While the one who prevented me from entering was the Caribbean.
Absolutely amazing night in here. People are great and the atmosphere is next level. I lost my phone n bank cards in here . They was handed in at my bank the next morning.Food: 1/5
Seems like the bouncer people actually got along with and liked has all of the sudden left haven't seen him for a few weeks. Used to see him Thursday & Weekends always had a laugh & made people feel welcome, also kept the garbage out. The replacement last night & Sunday was awful. Put me off continuing to come. Very rudeService: 1/5
The Village seems to have the most recent music of all the clubs if that is your thing. It also has the 00's classics and some old gold. It is open well into the morning - 8am! Beware the scary straight men that WILL try to grope you however they seem to forget where they are, even when reminded, unfortunately there seems to be more of them recently though staff are always safe to go to for help.
The bar itself was not bad. But one of the bouncers there was quite rude for no reason. Commenting on how I do not look happy to be there, just making assumptions without knowing any details about me or my life. I just thought it was very unnecessary and was not doing anything to disrespect them.Service: 1/5
HI HOPE YOU ARE WELL, I'M AWAIS KHAN LIVING AS A GAY MAN IN BIRMINGHAM, FROM LAST ONE MONTH I'M CONTINOUSLY VISITING AND TRYING TOGO CLUB BUT YOUR SECURITY ALWAYS BEING RACIST WITH ME AND THEY DIDN'T LET ME IN WITHOUT ANY REASON BEING A MUSLIM GAY ITS SO DIFFICULT AND I'M SO DEPRESSED I JUST GOT ONE DAY FREE IN WEEK TOGO CLUB FOR RELAXING I'M SO DEPRESSED. I WILL NOT COME ANYMORE TO YOUR CLUB. THANKS FOR BEING RACIST
