Oh how this palace has changed since I first moved here! Back then it was nationalist flags on the wall and a chilly welcome from the drunks propping up the bar. Fast forward 5 years and what a transformation. Now at the heart of the Church Road night life, has the best selection of gins in Brighton and Hove and great atmosphere.

Nice pub with two large seating and dinning areas. Good line in wine and a very good Sunday roast. Recommended.

Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. General win all round. Definitely my new favourite place for a roast too. Can't be better than that!

Had an 'Old Hove and Tonic' and a 'Orange and Basil Ale'... Yeh it sounds weird... but errrr really nice actually. 😎😎😎 Now with seating in the gin yard / smoking area. Recommend the bottomless brunch on a Saturday and the roasts on Sunday.

Great new renovation. Lots of craft ales on tap and more varieties of gin than you could possibly make your way through. Sunday lunch is great and the daily menu is solid. If you are on Church Road it is worth popping in for a pint.
