The Golden Lion Group is a family run pub group with pubs and restaurants in Brighton & Hove, Mid & East Sussex. Est in early 1980's

Story

We are a family run pub company based in Hove, East Sussex. Established in the early 1980’s the company began life at The Longman of Wilmington in Patcham and has steadily grown in the 30+ years since. We operate a varied portfolio that includes community boozers, town centre pubs, a restaurants, bars and picturesque country/village pubs.

We pride ourselves on providing quality drink and food in a welcoming atmosphere. High standards of service, unrivalled cleanliness and immaculate presentation of our public houses & bars have helped set us apart from the competition.

We are proud of our reputation within the local community and as such endeavour to use local suppliers where possible and we support a number of local charities, including Rocking Horse Appeal, The Martlets Hospice. As a founding member of the ALMR (Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers) we support the industry’s efforts in promoting responsible drinking and the drive to increase standards across the sector.
