The IMAX is incredible in every way, although it’s a crying shame they got rid of the ‘gallery’ area. Food and drinks area is a mess and best avoided. Drink fountains broken/not mixing correctly, slow service, popcorn smashed to pieces.
Awesome cinema. It will show all the latest films, the nachos are unbelievably good, it’s very clean, modern and the seats are fairly comfy with great screens to watch the latest releases. Standard prices for tickets, I think it’s £12.99 for a ticket but you can go on a Monday for £7 on the odeon app and you can upgrade your seats to the galleries which is a lot more comfy and you get food included

Screen 9 is not the biggest screen. Good seats. Temperature is just right. Clean and tidy
I probably wouldn't go here again as it currently is. It felt dated compared to say the ODEON at Durham. The seat and the screen felt really small. The in screen lights didn't get switched off during the showing and one was right above my head. In the public areas there are dark spots especially when you walk into the toilet as the fixtures need updating to LED due to CFL bulbs no longer available. What use to be a great feature upstairs blocked off and not available. Time for a upgrade.
Unbelievably uncomfortable seats.. every seat at my local cineworld has comfortable seats that recline a bit but the seats we were sat in were like sitting on hard rubber with no give.. staff were all lovely though but was so uncomfortable it made a 2h30m film a nightmare.
Excellent service from Anthony law abiding citizen, who gave us amazing advice how to use the defence discount card and on the different screen options to see Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. Cutomer service outstanding. Well done Anthony, we will definitely return to the cinema xxx
We are coming here from time to time when they screen some good movies. We like the atmosphere, it's clean, friendly staff, free parking...
Firstly the food ordering and collection is a nightmare, so slow, unorganised, frustrating and far too expensive, a complete rip off. In screen 11 , compared to other cinemas the screen is small, and the seats seem far away, seats are uncomfortable, might as well of stopped at home and watched it on our own TV .. that’s me done with the Metrocentre Odeon
Great venue situated in the Metro Centre with free parking and great transport links by bus or train. Lots of restaurants to choose from very family orientated. The cinema is close to fashion shops so great to make a day of it then go to the cinema which is modern, and very comfortable with over 11 screens. I love this cinema because I can park, shop, eat, relax and feel good in comfortable surrounds. Tuesdays 1pm is Silver Screen for pensioners just £5.50 includes tea/coffee and biscuits.
