New set up good prices good BUT went on Tuesday for new batman and it was absolutely freezing in screen 4, to the point all our hands and faces were so cold couldn't wait to get out and in car for warm, also speaker on left side near row G crackled so loud the whole time... Been a few times since original review and no complaints
Recently updated, the new setup looks great. The old screen six has gone and is now two smaller ones. There are screens upstairs now as well. The leg room is better and the new leather seats recline back. Beer is now on sold too!!
Excellent friendly staff which makes a well laid out cinema all the better. Good size screens, relatively well cleaned. Unlimited card means we are making the most of the showings and I would recommend. Will definitely have this cinema as our new regular!
Went to see Ticket to Paradice. Very good chic flick by the way. Cineworld Boldon was very clean and looks great. Staff are smartly dressed and knowledgeable. They were very helpful, even suggested better ways to view the films. My husband is a wheelchair user and the disabled access to most of the screens is from upstairs A very pleasant and enjoyable afternoon was certainly had by all.
First time back at the cinema after 2.5 years and first time at this cinema on national cinema day. Good experience, easy getting the tickets inside, seats are very comfy and noticed they reclined a bit which I liked. Also really enjoyed the film and on a big screen again. One gripe, I bought an icee drink and chocolate popcorn, pity it came to over £8. The cheaper ticket helped with this though. Maybe deals can be done with the food and drink a bit more.
The staff member's knowledge of easy access seats with no steps was appalling. He showed us the seating plan, and we specifically asked for seats that were not up or down steps. When we got into screen 1, the seats he had indicated were easy access were infact down some steps . Maybe more staff training on customer service should be done
I have a disabled daughter so I booked our seats in a screening in a auditorium that was most suitable to her needs at the time and most convenient to us. However when we arrived they had changed the auditorium. Not the seats I booked obviously. No email of change nor proper explanation. Extremely disappointed as was a Xmas treat on Xmas eve. Terrible service.
My favourite cinema it's lovely since the refit. Shout out to Ryan a very friendly and helpful member of staff. Popcorn and drink combo expensive .
Shame our 3D screen failed to work but the staff were helpful and gave us a rebate on our tickets. Clean and nice environment. Seats comfortable.
Can't fault the place apart from prices, seating upgrades excellent, the whole place is much better, we normally take our own snacks and drinks, after being to McDonald's I was thirsty and my wife bought me a standard size drink, £4.50 is extortionate to say the least, I pity anyone taking the family to the pictures, it'll cost them a fortune if they don't take there own.
