Absolutely love this theatre. It was lovely well kept. Served nice cups of coffee before the performance. Saw Jack & The Beanstalk absolutely brilliant production. We loved the production so much we are booked for 2024. Well done xx

Great venue, bar is very reasonable got to be quick to get to the toilet's as queue can get quite big .
Went to see The Old Oak today film was good but theatre was freezing. No heating on on a wet, cold and rainy day. Spoilt my afternoon view with my coat wrapped around me trying to keep warm
Went to hear Stanhope Silver Band's 200th anniversary concert and was greatly impressed with both the standard of playing and the venue. Never been to Consett before so was pleased to see a thriving, modern theater. Visibility and the acoustics were very good and the seats were comfortable and not cramped. A real asset for the town.
First time to the Empire for over 50 years. It's changed. Excellent night out, however reception/bar area is to small but is there space to reconfigure?
Nice clean, seating a bit cramped, and it's closed at the moment.
I would never go to a venue who take it upon themselves to cancel artists and stop them performing. You did this with a legend comedian who has entertained all his working life. You should be ashamed and I hope a good many people stop buying tickets and refuse to enter your premises till you come to your senses.
Took our 2 year old to see Aladdin Pantomime. First time at Consett empire. Fantastic. Tommy Cannon was this years star. Will definitely be back to watch next year. Very clean, much cleaner than Newcastle City Hall
