I went with my 13 year old granddaughter to see Jekyll and Hyde on Monday 12th February. The four actors were absolutely brilliant. Their acting of various characters and diction was excellent. I didn't feel their accolade was good enough although that wasn't down to the applause but probably because I wanted to give them more. I also didn't think this would be my cup of tea but my granddaughter is reading this in her English lesson at school and wanted to understand it more so I agreed to take her. We both left the theatre with admiration for the actors and enjoyment of the whole evening.

Traditional theatre and atmosphere. Priscilla was amazing- the theatre groups that perform here are very talented and don't get the national recognition they deserve. All staff in the theatre are very helpful and friendly. There aren't many theatres like this around anymore. The online booking facility is really convenient and tickets are delivered swiftly. The only advice I would give is avoid seats at the sides on the front rows as views can be restricted depending on the performance.

The grin and tonic show is recommended a very good night but for a takeaway cup of tea at the bar we were given half a cup and if we wanted a full one we were told we would have to be charged another pound because that was the measure the machine gives! Bizarre. The seating is a bit cramped for anyone with long legs and a bit close for comfort to your neighbours.

Went to Civic Theatre great night out we went with our children and my grandchildren laughed every minute of the show brilliant cast I'm definitely going there again can't wait to book again for Christmas for my grandchildren

Good place for spending nice evening and rest after hard day, but I don't like when people make a noise eating and drinking during performance...
