Leisure park near the train & bus stations, plenty of parking 4 hours free 8am-6pm; cinema & bowling get 2 hours extra; between midnight - 7am no right turn ‍nnCinema is all on ground level which is great, screens are large with plenty of leg room; recommend getting tickets via the app website isn't great, price is a tad highnnTaco Bell, Dominos & Five Guys near by
Went to see a film here recently and don’t think I’ll be back.nnAdvertised start time was 11:20. Film didn’t start until 11:45. The Euro Car Parks managed parking has a limit of 3 hours. I had to leave the film early to avoid a £100 parking fine because they didn’t advertise an accurate start time for the film. Pretty bad experience. They should be more honest and upfront with start times when parking is prohibitive.
Usually love going to this cinema but had such a bad experience watching weapons. The people behind me were so noisy, laughing and talking really loudly. They were also kicking my chair so much I had to move because I couldn’t concentrate on the film. No staff member came in to stop them either.
I'm only giving a 4 star as I have been spoilt by seat choice in another cinema. This cinema was tidy, smelt clean, staff were helpful, sound was good and view was good, seats were comfortable enough but young children need booster seats mainly because the seats fold a bit closed if the child doesn't weigh much, will visit again though
Have I been spoiled by having had the Vue at Gunwharf as my local for many years? Previously we used to go to the Odeon UCI as it was at Port Solent and this visit to Chichester Cineworld made me feel like I'd warped back in time 25 years to there. I visited to watch a morning showing with my nearly 6 year old and had to fight the seat for her to stay in any useful position that didn't involve it trying to eat her in the fold. The hard plastic booster seat was useless so we settled in the end for me bundling up my jumper and wedging it in the gap to stop it folding back.nnAs for myself, it was single handedly a reminder of why I used to always book the seats under the projector for legroom as I spent 90 uncomfortable minutes trying to work out if my seating position or the Minecraft Movie were physically hurting me more.nnHowever - everything was clean, there were plenty of staff on hand and look, we paid £1 a ticket.
