Been here a couple of times now, staff are lovely and the screens are a nice size. Seats are all recliners with small tables. Perfect for a movie!nnBe sure to input your vehicle registration into the system to get free parking.nnMy only downfall so far is the toilets. Never really had an issue but they are fairly small for a big cinema.
Overall, a great cinema experience — comfortable, clean, and a nice place to watch a film. The seats are usually very good, but some of them are starting to show their age and could really do with repair or replacement. Every now and then you might end up in one that’s not quite as comfortable as the rest.nnStill, strong four stars from me — definitely one of the better cinemas around.
Fantastic cinema. My local is Mansfield but travel here due to being a Luxe cinema. Great reclining seats across all screens and the picture and sound is better then my local. Staff super friendly. Some of the seat arm rests and tables are looking a little worn hence the 4 star review.
Our family went to see the movie 'Flow' this morning. It was a very pleasant experience. The recliners are very comfortable and add to the experience, the staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities were all very clean.nnIn terms of food, it is obviously overpriced, but at this point in time we all know that sterotype, so can't really mark it down for that compared to other cinemas. Exception probably being The Quad in the city centre.nnA great experience all in all especially as it was the first time we'd taken our children to the cinema.
Overall a good cinema with regards to staff and recliners but what’s actually happening with the sound? Especially in screen 5. Way too much centre and treble and low bass and background noise! Just recently Superman and Fantastic 4 movies ruined by the sound issues. Voices overpowering the music and effects sounds. Mansfield doesn’t have this issue only Derby! It’s almost like either centre sounds or treble too high and rest too low or your keeping it that way to get people into I Sence. My sound system at home sounds way better. I’m not joking Please send a technician to sort it out. I’ve experienced it in a few different screens and I’m not the only one who notices it. I’ve already emailed you with no reply! Yours a concerned movie fan.
