We visited as part of a home education group that meets monthly during term time.nnThe cinema is a one screen venue and really lovely, the seats aren’t the most comfortable after you’ve been sat in them for a while, but I imagine trying to keep up with the big guns is hard work!nnThere are toilets inside the cinema itself and a small foyer where usual cinema-priced snacks and drinks can be bought.
Every bit as good as any other cinema where it comes to sound quality.Friendly and helpful staff plus no rip offprices. . What a delight to be in a place with original 20th century decor. We'll be watching any film here from now on.
Proper old school cinema. A nice change from the big chain cinemas. Prices are very affordable and reasonable. Plenty of parking. Seats aren't the luxury ones but still a lot more comfortable than I was expecting. Staff was very nice as well. There is only one screen so limited what films are on but I would definitely drive 10 miles from Derby to go to this cinema than my local Odeon less than a mile away.
Great little single screen cinema. Free evening parking right next door, extremely friendly service team, comfortable seats, great sound. Would definitely recommend, it's how cinemas used to be.
What an awesome place, it doesn't look much from the outside, but it has lots of character and charm from the inside, the seats could definitely do with a refurb, the price of the tickets was HALF THE PRICE of the regular cinemas, I will be using this place from now on, considering that the big boys are at least £15 per ticket, even the popcorn is reasonably priced.
