This cinema could really do with an update! The carpets are all quite grim and there is a pervading smell of damp. The toilets are very cramped. Cinema itself was fine, seats are big, but for £10 a ticket you expect something a bit nicer. There was also a weird sound of running water during the film!

Dire. Paid extra for the upgraded seats, which were too low, meaning that the view was obstructed by the seat in front. We had to sit on our folded up coats/jumpers to get a half decent view, which was uncomfortable. Jaw-droppingly terrible design, clearly untested and not thought through. Being able to see the screen is obviously an essential part of the cinema experience, so not sure what happened there. There was constant talking throughout, the crowds conduct was poor in general. It also seemed far too easy to hear people eating/drinking over the film audio. Right up until the last advertisement there were people having issues with seats, which involved distracting movement and obstruction of the view. A man was sat in our seats when we arrived, claiming he needed two, seemingly without any form of ticket proof- why was he allowed entry? The carpets in the hall were dirty, the entire place seemed overall dingy and unkempt. The screen was too small, and the room was boiling. Judging from the rest of the reviews, it is a damn good job I didn’t need to use the toilet. Overall a nasty, hellhole of a place, designed with no desire to meet basic customer requirements. If you want to spend money on a sweaty sit-down social in the dark, involving tedious intermittent games of musical chairs, with a small, faint distraction of a box office film plodding on in the background that you occasionally might want to tune into, this place might be for you.

The cinema is very run down, and the screens often smell. However, the seats are still comfortable, and the viewing experience is definitely not disappointing. I would recommend the Odeon at Broadway Plaza instead of this, but for the convenience factor, this cinema definitely does the job.

Absolutely wonderful customer service here. I purchased my tickets online which was super easy, especially when I reached the cinema as all I had to do was insert the card if used to purchase the tickets in the first place. The guy that helped me find the correct door Ian was super nice and friendly, it was great to talk with someone who is also keen on film. I can’t wait to go again this week, all I need to do now is pick which film I’d like to see Thank you Oden cinema and Ian

Had a really good experience here. The chap who sold us our tickets was friendly a we talked about films with him. It was clean and tidy but I think it's a fairly old building set fairly central in town. Wasn't paying attention at the time but not sure how suitable it is for wheelchair access. And not being a local don't know how far the nearest parking is away.
