We went here the day of the U2 concert. it was filled with fans, so nice to connect with others traveling to see the show. The room is obviously an octagon shape, with really cool stained glass in the ceiling. There's couches around the perimeter of the bar for more comfy seating. There's not an Irish vibe, like you could be anywhere type of bar. Just cool to say we had a drink there.
Such a nice chilled out bar with fantastic staff. My first visit in 2014 I visited on a Friday night and the place was absolutely buzzing. I recently went last Saturday and it was quite, perfect for a nice chilled evening drink. The staff are friendly and polite and the cocktails are to die for, Call me a cab is my absolute fave!! :P
Dated and quiet. We were there because of the U2 connection, but if you didn't know about it...no one would tell you.
Possibly the worst fish dinner ever. Ice cold potatoes. Fish out of a box. Perhaps the front restaurant is better. The bar, though is poor. For a Dublin bar, not very good.
Surly bartenders with inconsistent drinks. I only came back because I was staying at the hotel. There are much better places to get a drink in Dublin.
Top notch cocktails in a very relaxing stylish bar. It's part of the Clarence hotel so you need to go through the lobby.
This was nice and relaxing to start, then with only about six people in the bar for some reason the staff felt the need to raise the volume of the music to night club level, which I thought very strange in a hotel residents bar,
Not only delicious cocktails but also a relaxed atmosphere, a lovely place to scape from all the buzz from temple bar area.
Find it hard to believe that a company that trades in Temple Bar continues to push the Status Quo Breweries and has no room for Independent beers. Just disappointed.
No Bordeaux by the glass. Reasonable Spanish Rioja. Place was pleasantly quiet. Service good. Convenient location.
