This was a really fun place. Firstly, the drinks were good and the shamrock cocktail was particularly delicious. The staff were pretty friendly too. The venue was very large, and it had a great vibe. It felt like a safe space. I’d definitely come back here.
Amazing place! I visited with my girlfriend, some lovely people offered us a seat from their reserved tables, because we were just wandering around, no place to sit. I am from Hungary so it was overwhelming that such a good, queer place exists. There was a pride beer, and amazing decoration. I will definitely go back.
We occasionally go here and in our view, possibly the best bar for the LGBTQIA+ community in Dublin. Fantastic atmosphere as always and refreshing gin and tonic. I’m still wondering how they managed to get a bottle of Blue Bottle gin from the Channel Islands – the stuff’s hard to find at the moment! I don't understand the 1-star ratings. We've been going here for years and Street 66's been consistently excellent!
My new favourite pub in Dublin. The music volume is just as it should be, not too loud and not too low. The pub is very nicely decorated with very nice lights. They also have board games. Perfect for a night out with friends.
I can’t speak on the people talking about the night crowd but I was there with my friend on a Sunday afternoon and the staff was awesome and friendly. The CUTEST place omg. Highly recommended it in the afternoon for a chill spot for good drinks, good tunes and friendly bartenders.
It was such a quick and amazing experience. The place is amazing itself, but the treatment was even better. Alex, the bartender was amazing since the beginning. He gave me a suggestion for a drink and even helped to charge my phone. Thank you again and I'm definitely coming back before I go. This mate deserves a rise. :
Unfortunately, some of the barman , specifically I have noticed 2 of them, girls, are very rude without any f*** reason. And it is something that I have noticed more than one time. Apart from that, I have heard about the same experience from many people around Dublin, saying that "I don't wanna go there because some of them are pretty rude" and they feel a kind of discrimination. Please, find them and train them how to act appropriately towards costumers. Being a good bartender is not about only how fast you serve, but also how polite you are , regardless of how busy you are. Drinks are really nice and with high quality . The music and the DJ are amazing. Cheers
Best gay bar in Dublin! Great drinks, great staff, great music, great crowd. Definitely the most lesbian friendly place in the city! When I lost my bag I got in contact with the manager - Siobhán the next day and she was so helpful.
As other reviewers have said the staff are extremely unfriendly. They have no respect for a queuing system - just ignoring some customers giving preference to others. Perhaps they get this attitude from the owner who decides to ignore reviewers who state this fact. Drinks are below average, toilets are filthy. Best spend your money elsewhere where customers are respected.
One star because it’s the least I can have. For a community that claims to be all inclusive and all it wants is equality the way we were treated was the complete opposite. My husband and I wanted to hangout have a few drinks and made our way to street 66, apparently from what I was told we looked too “Straight” we were kicked out at the door saying there was a party mean while the bar was literally empty with like 7 people inside. Disgusted and don’t recommend you going
