This isn't my local O2 but I always travel here since the manager moved here from my local shop. I've never had rude staff in any O2 shop but I prefer to go to a place where people know who I am.

I was trying to swap to a sim only contact and tried online and via live chat after 2 hours gave up and young lad called Evelyn ( maybe spelt wrong) sorted it out in les than 10 mins amazing service well done

The assistant manager I dealt with today was extremely arrogant and unhelpful.

Very incompetent staff. The worst customer service I have received from any O2 staff for the whole 7 years of being with the company. We had to come 4 times to the store only because we were given each time wrong information. After being repeatedly messed about with by less than pleasant staff we decided, like any sane person would, to cancel the whole upgrade of the contract and waited over a week for the contract to be free so we can retain the number. They kept giving us excuses only to find out that despite reveiving the handset back and even issuing us with a refund of the advance payment we paid, they never actually cancelled the upgrade and it kept rolling for over a week. Then they asked us to come back into store again heheh what a joke. An assistant manager named jessica sounded clueless and rude whilst her colleague in crime amber is extremely incompetent. Avoid like the plaque. If you wanna go to O2 store, go somewhere else. Not Hemel Hempstead!!!!
