A small but lovely library in Northfield, Birmingham. Staff were friendly and helpful. There are computers for public use. Kids area was great with plenty of story books and sofas were clean too. Facilities were old but well maintained. It is closed on Wednesday and also shut for lunch time 1-2pm every day. If you apply for membership you need photo ID for this, also you need to reside in Birmingham you can borrow up to a maximum of 20 books on your account at any time.
Northfield library is a nice and quiet library, always well stocked with whatever book you're into.. staff are always happy to help, plenty of computers for rent.. the toilets are basic but clean and always have toilet tissues in them..they also put in lots of activities for kids story time is always a good one.. just remember it starts at 11am lol
Great library, clean and relaxing. The staff are lovely too. Lots of space to work, read, and research. There are lots of extra things to participate in, also.
The staff is lovely . Her name is Abby- she certainly exceeds the expectations of visitors. Overall, the library is very clean and nice with a lovely staff that are happy to help.
Good old Victorian era library near to Victoria park
I loved this place because it has such a wide variety of books. My kids spent hours in there reading and checking out. Very good atmosphere.
Great place, all the staff are very helpful and friendly. They will get you any book or resource that you want with only a short delay. I am glad this library is still open as books are a seriously important part of my life. I was signed up here at the age of five and now sixty years later still use this library!
Great place - very welcoming with lots of activities on offer, helpful staff and a good selection of books. Especially like the stories and craft Saturdays for children once a month.

It is always a joy to visit a library, but Northfield library is a very special joy. The staff are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is always very comfortable.
