I have used this station several times over the last five years, magnificent facade on the front. Pretty easy to get around and it had a M&S food and a Sainsburys as well as some other small shops and a pub attached to it.nNice clean station right in the centre of Newcastle so easy to get to where you need to go with just a short walk.
I'm from London and have only travelled through the station. Having stayed in Durham, took the train to Newcastle, and what a grand station it is. It's massive and easy to navigate.
Very busy here at evening and weekends, quite confusing one way systems when driving.nAs a city it's great with all usual facilities and shops, pubs, hotels , restaurants and a good night life scene.nParking can be tricky as not well signed but managed in end.nWell worth a visit or a passing through occasion.nThank you
I do like how simple this station is . Not too chaotic . Very seamless
An overall satisfactory train station. The environment is reasonably clean and well-maintained. There is a reasonable presence of designated waiting areas and signs around the station are adequate. There are however, very limited options in terms of cafes and other refreshment amenities. There is also a general lack of power outlets around the station, which can be frustrating if you have a long changeover here.
