It's clean dan spacious. This station is a hub for local metro and inter-city trains. It is located near city center. There are also a lot of taxis available outside.

Lots of trains. Left immediately as I was overwhelmed by how many trains there were, and I was looking for a more boutique option. Next time try less trains. Quality over quantity, like a galaxy chocolate bar.

An overall satisfactory train station. The environment is reasonably clean and well-maintained. There is a reasonable presence of designated waiting areas and signs around the station are adequate. There are however, very limited options in terms of cafes and other refreshment amenities. There is also a general lack of power outlets around the station, which can be frustrating if you have a long changeover here.

A city that is regenerating itself from the ravages of decades of underinvestment. It's a vibrant, friendly city full of a wide range of cultural and social activities. It is like the nightclub of the NE. Great place for a getaway with oodles of museums and galleries and beautiful green spaces.

I have visited Newcastle Train Station many times on my way to or from Carlisle. It is a huge station with many platforms serving from Scotland all the way to London. It is generally clean and well maintained with most of its original features. There are many amenities, including toilets and a Burger King.
