I have used this station several times over the last five years, magnificent facade on the front. Pretty easy to get around and it had a M&S food and a Sainsburys as well as some other small shops and a pub attached to it.nNice clean station right in the centre of Newcastle so easy to get to where you need to go with just a short walk.

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICEnMy Mum needs assistance. The staff were fabulous, especially Luke and a young lady, whose name I didn't get. It was all planned, to help her onto the train, take her luggage and walker and arrange for someone to get her off. They made her feel like a VIP, not a disabled person. The station is always beautifully clean. A shame that we live on the west coast and don't have LNER

I've been travelling here for work for 2 years.nTrains are mostly always on time in peak times.nnWould be nice if they improved the cleanliness in the station, especially the toilets. The ticket machines can be slow sometimes, but the staff are helpful.nAmazing infrastructure on the inside and outside.

A large and fairly easy to navigate train station with plenty of signage, and step free access to all platforms. There is a good interchange point to the Tyne And Wear Metro near the entrance to the station, and a couple of shops selling food and drink as you walk in to the station. The only issue I have is that there aren’t many toilets. For example, the platforms furthest for. The entrance are quite far from toilets, it would be better if there were some others over the end platforms furthest from the entrance.
