Really busy city centre station.  Great architecture mixed with a modern theme. You can get trains to just about anywhere in the UK from here. Hotels nearby and food outlets at the station, such as burger king.

Such a lovely train station, it has a lot of history as well and the new trains blend in so nicely. I like they kept the old styling. Trains easy to find, tickets can be purchased out front.

Travel there for business. Didn't do much sight seeing , however, from what I saw, good Newcastle  is nice area. Clean, multitude of shops and restaurants

I have used this station several times over the last five years, magnificent facade on the front. Pretty easy to get around and it had a M&S food and a Sainsburys as well as some other small shops and a pub attached to it.nNice clean station right in the centre of Newcastle so easy to get to where you need to go with just a short walk.

I just want to share a huge thank you to the wonderful lady working at the station yesterday , Angela.nnWe were travelling from Newcastle to Edinburgh from platform 2 around 15.50pm for a concert and, due to confusing information on the app, we missed our train even though we were on the platform in time. It was a stressful moment, and our whole evening felt at risk.nnBut then Angela stepped in. Without hesitation, she showed kindness, understanding, and genuine care. She spoke with the train manager and arranged for us to take the next train at no extra cost. Thanks to her, our plans were saved and we were able to enjoy a beautiful evening together.nnHer professionalism, empathy, and willingness to help went far beyond what we expected. It’s rare to meet someone who makes such a difference in a difficult moment.nnThank you again, Angela  you truly made our day!
