A very nice place for breakfast or brunch. It’s in a corporate district so you’ll see a lot of suits, but they’ve managed to make it a great vibe nonetheless. The interior is really cosy with loads of plants. The service is quick and very professional. The food is healthy, fresh, and good quality. Really appreciated that they have a very tasty gluten free bread, which is hard to come by. Would come back!
Very nice place, decent staff and good food. A little dark so if you can't see well bring a torch! They provide a birthday treat when someone in your party is celebrating. The bar didn't really offer tailored drinks and wine was a couple years of vintage disparate from the menu.
Incredible restaurant. The food is second to none and really reasonably priced considering its central London. Highly recommend splashing out for a champagne coupe stack if you can! Massive thank you to the whole team for making our nans birthday memorable!Food: 5/5
Great atmosphere, unique styling mixture of old and new. Great selection of liquors especially gins. Food was good, everyone liked their mail with nothing left. After a long wait our meal was served and they forgot our appetizers. They offered to bring them but we thought it would be a shame to waste the main meal.
Lovely atmosphere and service was great and attentive. We were seated in an area that was heated which was an added bonus. Starters were lovely - zucchini frites and squid. Fish and chips were nice especially the chips, fish was slightly more oily than my liking but overall good and generous portions. Cocktails were really good and strong!
We had a delicious meal and a lovely experience here. Our server was amazing, super friendly and attentive. I had a glass of Cotes de Rhone, which was great, venison tartar, smoked salmon and a fillet steak. All of it was perfectly cooked, steak was rare and really delicious. The decor is really lovely and the atmosphere is really relaxed and lucious green.
Lovely place, and very busy. Staff are overly polite and attentive. If it's somewhere you need to go for a couple of hours no problem. But be aware that the tables are always fully booked so you will have to move after 2 hours as its reserved for other clients. No problem as they have the bar area where you can stay. Parking: No parking available
On first thought, the brunch menu offering was poor however, once sat down, it was clear that a number of ‘brunch’ items were incorporated into the main menu. Service was second to none and the food was out of this world… I had the Haddock Fish Cake with Jasmine Rice and my sister had the famous ‘Fish and Chips’ with mushy peas option. Only downside is that there’s lack of mocktail/non alcoholic options, since we don’t drink alcohol due to our faith. If there was a halal option as a separate menu that would be better. Well worth the £47 including service charge and drinks. Good pricing for a brunch day out.
We decided to attend The Ivy City Garden for our work Christmas Party. The set up was lovely, effort had been put with the decor including posh Christmas crackers. The service was good albeit a bit slow, but that's understandable given this time of year and how busy they were. The starter was incredible! Rarely have I been served such a generous portion of duck liver parfait accompanied with toasted brioche bread. The main was a bit of a let down. The name sounded promising: Goose and Turkey Shepherd pie. The delivery was a bit disappointing as it didn't look exciting and it tasted nice but not special. Also the balance of meat and mash meant that it was really meaty. Too meaty maybe? The desert was a nice touch. I had the frozen berries with frozen yogurt and the touch of white chocolate sauce. Some of the guests had the Crème Brulée. Both were delicious! Overall the wine choice was great and it complimented the food very well.
Another lovely addition to the Ivy groups restaurant line. Styled in the same familiar fashion. Sadly I think there are probably just s little too many tables clustered together, as the restaurant gets very crowded due the the location. The service was great sad prompt without being pushy. All of our food was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented If you don't mind the crowded environment, go for it. Highly recommended
