Visited here to charge my car. After spending approximately 90 minutes most of the time on the phone to BP Pulse, we agreed to give up with the company representative, this following many attempts and reboots with two different chargers suggested by the BP Pluse rep. I asked for my deposit to be refunded. which it was. Following this, we did not visit Bakewell.
Great to have so many charging points. Made the mistake of thinking parking was free for EV charging as in many other car parks and got fined 25gbp for my mistake. Would have been happy to pay but wish the signage was clearer.
8 charging bays, only 2 reserved for electric vehicles so all taken by petrol cars. Asked the council and they said that when the chargers were installed "concerns were raised they may be underused so we decided to allow anyone to use the spaces" There are another 600 spaces in Bakewell. They clearly don't want the business of electric vehicle owners.
Lots of EV chargers but none work - the council needs to sack BP Pulse.
Not a very large car park but well placed to visit the local Co-op. If you live in the Dales you can use your parking badge before 11 and after 4.
Tiny very limited spaces - though a good number of electric only spaces
Ideally situated for visiting Bakewell, £4.50 for 4 hours & Town centre is just round the corner, found a space quite easily even on market day.....
4 charging spaces v good for a little town
Chargers didn't work even when we called the number.
Spaces are a little tight but a decent price and close to the town.
