Lovely little place in Bakewell central to the shops, restaurants and pubs. Parking here is maximum 2 hours for £2.50 if you can find a spot!
The car park is very central and easy to get in and out of, though aisles don’t have turnaround/lane at end so a bit annoying if you think there is an available spot that is actually taken as need to back up to get to the next aisle.
Ticket machine was out of order. Online payment system buggy. But a good car park as car parks go!
Bakewell town is very nice and very scenic but also very small. Not a huge amount to see. After 3 or so hours, 4 tops you have had enough. The market itself is not any good. Very small and the same as any market anywhere. Nice place to have a walk around and have a look at the church/river and have something to eat for 2/3 Hours but that's it.
Great market weekly which means we visit the town and all other shops. Well catered for foodwise Car parking a pain but persevere.snd PAY Look out for Bakewell Show too it's less painful then wandering round and queuing for hours particularly on a Bank Holiday Monday !!
Nice change from the city, so quaint and beautiful. I love the fact theirs so many charity stores to find Little bargains, and not to mention the baked goodies also the locals are so polite and friendly
Have to pay on all days. 24hrs a day. Get a voucher for 2hrs back if spend £15 in the adjacent coop. Good location in central Bakewell.

Great market hear on a Monday top quality fresh produce.fresh pies, potted meat,cakes etc.we will be back for a top up
A massive favourite of mine and the family. We visit often. Gets busy on Mondays due to large market.
