Beautiful stunning scenery in the countryside surrounded by mountains, can see Ben Nevis. Log cabins are old American style - loved them! Scenic views especially from Pine Lodge cabin. Definitely come back. Ideal location and very helpful staff
Great stay, cozy cabin and good views of the mountains on clear days.
This lodge is not "accessible to everyone" as stated on their website. If you are disabled, there is no walk in shower. Both the showers are over the baths which are high. The log cabin is very tired and in need of a revamp. Door on kitchen unit does not close, making it awkward to use dishwasher. There are loose paving at patio doors and also beside the ramp. The front was hanging off one of the baths. The upper floor double bedroom is not en-suite as stated on video. Some china, glasses and cutlery were dirty and there was not a complete set of anything. Not 5 star as stated on website. however since emailing owners they have now taken off "5 star property" and also corrected their previous description of baths and showers. Sad that it took so many emails for this to be corrected. The first emails sent, the owners did not want to know about complaints. Although they have removed their 5 star, they have not reduced their prices accordingly.
Chatty and helpful staff. Food was good but nothing special. View was out of this world
