Can't go wrong with The Brevins Guest House! Excellent location, walking distance to downtown Fort William and Ben Nevis trail head. Clean and quiet rooms. Excellent full breakfast to your liking and diligent service and advice from both hosts. Great restaurant recommandations, including suggestion to book ahead when available, which ended up being essential. Thanks again for a great stay! Walkability: Excellent
I cannot recommend Brevins Guest House enough. Vincent and Brenda were so thoughtful, prepared, and responsive. We had to leave early to catch the train and were going to miss breakfast. Brenda prepared an amazing breakfast for us to go. They did not have to do that but went above and beyond. The room was perfect. The facilities are immaculately clean. The breakfast was outstanding. It was so peaceful there. Little things like hanging up our wet clothes from the rain is what sets them apart. My only regret: we couldn’t stay longer. Thank you so much!!!
Hospitality was impeccable. Such a warm and friendly welcome from the hosts. Room was spotless and to the highest standard. Bed was quite possibly the best I have slept in at a guest house. Vegan breakfast was delicious and was no drama at all to provide this. Just 20 minutes walk to the start of Ben Nevis path. Would love to stay again. Thanks so much guys

They provided us with valuable information to explore Fort William and its surroundings, which was very helpful. The location of The Brevins Guest House is fantastic. It's within walking distance of the train station and close to various hiking trails that offer stunning views. The guest house is immaculate and exudes a calming ambiance. The thoughtful details that Brenda and Vincent have added to the rooms, such as slippers and chocolates, made our stay even more comfortable. One of the highlights of our visit was the delicious breakfast cooked to order by Brenda and Vincent. It was always a perfect way to start our day of exploring the area. We appreciated their dedication to ensuring we were well-fed and content during our stay. Overall, we had an outstanding experience at The Brevins Guest House. Brenda and Vincent were exceptional hosts who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We highly recommend this guest house to anyone searching for a place to stay in Fort William!
Thank you again to Vincent and Brenda for your warmth and hospitality. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at this guesthouse. Firstly, it’s conveniently located close to the Ben Nevis visitor centre, but at the same time not too far from the city centre, and there is complimentary onsite parking. Secondly, the room was lovely, very clean with comfortable beds and a fantastic warm shower. Thirdly, Vincent and Brenda are spectacular hosts. You get to choose which hot breakfast you want the afternoon before, and Brenda cooks it for you. And she makes the best blueberry pancakes with creme fraiche ever. Vincent also goes out of his way to ensure that your stay is comfortable. We asked him about hiking recommendations at breakfast and he would also give us weather tips for the day in question. All in all, this stay was 10/10 and I would highly recommend anyone stopping over in Fort William to stay here.
This is the second time I have stayed at The Brevins and this time brought even more people with me. It is a lovely B&B, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Fort William! The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are great. Vincent & Brenda are really welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area. The location is a little bit outside of Fort William centre, so if you haven’t got a car it’s a little bit of a walk for food, but not too taxing! And location is perfect for getting to the Nevis range and Glen Nevis Walkability: Great for walking accessing the Nevis range & Glen Nevis, but a 15-20 min walk into the centre of Fort William.
We stayed here 2 nights and got a very warm welcome from Brenda and Vincent. They put a lot of effort and love in making The Brevins a pleasant and comfortable place. Everything is just perfectly finished with attention to details. A good breakfast is served, and there's time for an informal talk. We'll book again if we're back in Scotland, thanks for a nice time and good memories.
Vincent is a brilliant host, very friendly and knowledgeable about the whole area. We followed his advice about local restaurants and trips further afield and were not disappointed. Our room was large, neat and tidy with a generous en suite. The bed was comfy, had good pillows and the area is quiet so we slept well on both nights. We even had an owl outside. Brenda's breakfasts are top drawer, cooked really well and generous enough to keep you going through the day. Highly recommended. Cheers!
We had a brilliant stay at Brevin’s Guest House. Vincent was very welcoming when we arrived. He helped out with directions for our evening meal so we could walk there. We didn’t know it was within walking distance. Our room was exceptionally clean with everything we needed. Breakfast was fantastic and the hosts easily accommodated our requests decaf tea, well done egg etc. Would highly recommend!
We loved our short stay in Brenda and Vincent's B&B. Such a warm welcome, spotless accommodation and great breakfast. They have really thought of everything and work tirelessly to ensure guests are looked after well. We would definitely return on our next visit to the area- thank you both for your kindness and hospitality!
