First and Foremost I’d like to say this review does not reflect the Browns Restaurant which was wonderful. Both food and staff were just lovely. Please keep in mind that while you are reading the reviews for this place,most seem to be giving high marks because of the restaurant and wait staff. The hotel, however, was not. I have no idea how this is listed as a 4 star hotel and how the reviews are so high. So the rooms are very small and you can’t open the bathroom door after a shower because the steam sets off the fire alarm! The worst part was that the bed destroyed my back so badly that I had to cancel our day trip to Skye,which was supposed to be the highlight of our trip. We had to find another hotel short notice and to top it off the concierge made me feel as if it was MY fault and still charged me for the night we didn’t stay! This is after I lost out on over £100 from the cancelled tour and had to pay for a new hotel. We didn’t even get an apology for the bed injuring my back! I would definitely not recommend staying here. A refund and apology would have been nice.

Stayed here a few months ago, and while the hallways take a second to get used to, this was a very quaint hotel. They also let us keep our bags there while we had already checked out and explored the town. Thank you!

Good size very clean rooms. Great restaurant serves food from 5.30 to 9.30. Overall very good hotel and highly recommended.

Spent a night here, room lovely and spacious and staff very friendly and helpful. Can't beat a cooked breakfast in the morning!
