Not impressed with the experience I had visiting the store yesterday. I came in just 2 purchase 2 packs of coffee pods but took 5 minutes to checkout with the staff faffing about trying to find my account, I asked after they had been faffing and not found it if I could just purchase without the account and they responded with “no not really”. Should take 30 seconds to purchase the pods it’s not complicated. The store felt cramped and poorly laid and needs a rethink and staff require more training. Nestle have some more work to do.
Great store with very friendly staff members. My understanding was the machines were very difficult to use however the friendly gentleman referred me over to the till which was an easier experiance. I would of loved to taste some new coffee but was not offered by another staff member lady when i asked about the new esspresso range. Otherwise this store would of definitely got a 5 star from me.
The staff won’t allow you to purchase some coffee pods without having to have an account. This is not the case in other stores. I’m sure they do this so that the stats are high for members signing up in that store. They then were faffing around trying to find the account which meant it took 5 minutes just to purchase 2 little coffee pods when it shouldn’t have taken much time at all.
Apparently this store was meant as an experiment, in what I am not sure but I assume it's something to do with having no stock and a really poor staff attitude. I really do hope this is not adopted in other stores. This expensive coffee, it is a luxury item. But, if your staff can't spare the time to serve me and get arsey when I don't have my code on me which I didn't realise I needed as I have not been to this store before it really does not say 'boutique'. Unfortunately this is my closest, but I might just order online next time. If I didn't have a vertu machine, I would just shift to Amazon knock offs.
We needed some new flavours to replenish our coffee stocks. As soon as we entered we found a hand-sanitation station, which was nice to see, whereupon we were greeted by a really friendly chap called Chris. He was extremely helpful, listening to us rather than going through the motions. I noted his badge indicated he was a coffee specialist. Whether this is Nespresso's terminology for sales assistant or not, he did know his stuff. I was impressed. I confirmed I was a fan of the arpeggio pods, to which is brought up their new special Sumatra pods. I can confirm, having tried one, that they are perfect even with a dash of creamer. Lovely. He was very attentive to my partner's preferred flavours and made the whole process more like catching up with an old school-friend than being on a shop. I highly recommend having a chat with Chris if you need some guidance. Nespresso is currently offering a new coffee machine for £1 if you sign up for their £20/£25 a month subscription service, where you spent funds are added to your Nespresso account as store credit. An interesting idea of you need a new machine and aren't averted to acquiring more subscription services. I declined though. The store wasn't busy and seemed to have plenty of stock. The tasting station isn't open as you would expect in the height of Covid-19. All round a pleasant shop at Nespresso.
Myself and wife visited this store at Bluewater for first time as we were fascinated of looks of the Nespresso coffee machines As we walked in we were greeted my smiles from Peter who offered for us to try out some coffee no selling pressure at all he was amazing with his expert advice on different coffee and showed us all types of coffee machines again no selling pressure . Guess what we absolutely loved it and joined a espresso coffee club and ended up buying your lovely coffee maker . We also like to thank Kristina both were asset to this store full of smiles and expert advice on coffee . Definitely
Had a great experience in this store. Bruna delivered excellent customer service. She was so knowledgeable and it felt like she really wanted me to have the right product that met all my needs. Thank you!!!
Lovely place to look around for coffee. They serve it their mini bar and we got a free hot chocolate. Great samples and varieties of options. Got everything we need and they had tablets to explain what's the story because their coffee. Amazing store and staff are friendly towards customers.
Came up to Bluewater with my husband and 2 small children yesterday especially to go to the Nespresso store. We waited for ages to be even acknowledged by a member of staff as 2 of them was just standing there having a conversation. They had clearly seen there was customers waiting to be served but carried on with their conversation anyway. When asked if we're able to try a certain type of coffee they replied 'no, don't have it.' no alternative, no manners or anything. We decided to buy it anyway as we really wanted to try it. We asked where we pay and the lady replied again 'go to the back' and shook her head. Every single customer that was in the store looked so confused and had no idea what was going on. There was only ONE member of staff who even seemed to have any manners. Nespresso, it seems your staff either really hate their Jobs, or you only employ people with 0 customer service skills. We left absolutely baffled as to what actually happened. From the looks of the other reviews, it seems that this is a common occurrence with the terrible, non existent service. Will not be returning.
The new checkout system in this store is horrendous. Queues of people being taught how to use the machines by staff who could just be serving in the normal way. I don’t need another app just to use in your store once every few months. The old store layout was much better in my opinion.
