Very Poor service. Tried to have lunch today at 11.40 just before the lunch rush. Restaurant about 1/3 full. Was seated in an aisle where the table really didn't fit at the back of the restaurant. Noticed we had been given breakfast menus so asked for lunch menus to which the male waiter tutted! Bumped into by passing waiters whilst seated three times without apology. By 12 no one had come to take the order so we left. We passed 'our' waiter as we did so he just glared at us. Unpleasant and rude.

Visited here before the cinema, thinking 1.5 hours would be enough for 3 courses. Nope! Was about an hour before our mains arrived. Had to bug the waitress to get our bill before the desserts arrived so we could get out as early as possible. Ordered a cocktail which arrived warm - asked for extra ice which they put in, still warm(?). Food was actually quite nice but would never dream of paying for it (we used clubcard vouchers). For a packed restaurant on a Saturday night they had only 4 waiters - running round like headless chickens. It seems like the service is consistently like this from the other reviews...

Feel completely deceived by this restaurant. About a month ago had an unpleasant experience... cold and late food. Told food we had ordered and waited an hour for was now not available. Poor service. To make up for this they gave me some vouchers and was told I could have 50% of food next time I came. This was a lie. The vouchers are only valid for a short time about six weeks after the event. To add insult to injury only on certain things. So totally useless. I was given something to keep me quiet that meant nothing. That was my last visit. They should be ashamed of how management treat their customers.

Sam was our waiter and was good to see him again as he worked at lakeside with me when I worked there. He greeted us with a smile and was quick with our drinks and food. The food was boiling hot and was very fresh. Would come to BW cafe rouge again.

First time its happened to me. I did not get served. After 20 mins of being ignored I left, squeezing past a waiter by the door as I left. I can only assume I've suddenly acquired the super power of being invisible . Not impressed!!
