Worst branch ever. Went to open a bank account with Angela Mcrury, was completely mistreated, had to walk to the closest library to print another bill as proof of address (because a statement from the electricity company adding my name to the account, a police registration official letter and tenancy agreement was not enough and she couldn't print a single page for me there).. And after it all, because in the bill it was saying "first bill" (as I just moved there, she could see by the tenant agreement) and it had written "based on previous year consumption", she could not open the account because it was "too confusing" for her, and she needed to check with her manager that was not on the branch, and she could call me on the next day. How they can hire someone that does not know how electricity bill work, so incapable?!  WORST BANK BRANCH EVER.

Refitting as of November 2015 and it's not for the convenience of the customer.

In particular the fast cheque deposit system has been abolished and the customer is now required to feed their own deposit slips and cheques into a machine. They actually have to stand there and do the Clerk's job...well what was the Clerk's job before they were reduced in numbers.

So that's another job lost to "efficiency" then. Business customers still receive cheques at present, the banks know they do, they issued them.

NatWest "Helpful Banking". Apparently.

the new layout is not customer friendly.
Those machines are so stressful to use.
I went there few times , had to cash some notes &coins, the machine that does both transaction was out of service. had to queue at 2 machines + to see an agent.
This is such a time waster, spent my entire lunch break queuing !!!! :(((((
