There has been fraud on my account so I called in to report it - they told me I had to use the app - the app would not allow me to report it so I had to phone up which took over an hour. It would have been a lot quicker and easier if I had been able to report it in the bank
One of the cash/cheque machines was sadly broken which they were aware of however a Natwest employee came over when she saw me waiting, service was good and speedy and was in and out within 10 minutes.
Terrible staff, terrible bank. Having worked in a bank myself, this is the absolute worst experience received from the members of staff in the Huddersfield branch. Manager needs more managerial skills, and staff need more customer service skills.
Whilst visiting family in Huddersfield i visited your branch it was awful. The branch is all machines which I did not want to use. I found one teller when free then told me she was cash only so I banked cash then was told I had to book a time to pay a Bacs at another desk. It was so annoying . If they had the staff that were wandering around 'advising' on a till all the customers would have been served and away much quicker. I do not have this problem at my local branch as we still have human beings to talk to and to be served by.
Went into branch did application on the phone went thorough fine no problem was informed to make application form quicker go into branch with identification so I did with more than enough I.D told to wait which I did an hour colleague called Helen look at my bank statement and saw the high balance and said because I wasn't switching she couldn't open the account and take my identification logged a complaint and confirmed you can have as many current accounts as you want. Colleagues absolutely useless.
I've been to this branch 3 times in total. The first time I was served by a young lady who was very pleasant. The next time I was served by a blonde hair lady, presumably the same one someone else in this thread commented on. She continued to talk to her colleagues and spoke to me like I was out of order for distracting her from her conversation which she carried on with throughout the process. The final time I had the same issue with another woman. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Never before have I felt like I didn't matter to a company quite like this. The sad thing is its my bank so it's not as easy as just leaving.
I wish I could leave 0 stars. I went to put money into my account through the machines and it stole my money…The staff there were pretty much useless and told me it wasn’t in there. Ended up going to the post office where all of my money went into my account efficiently. Definitely won’t be going back to that terrible branch.
Having noted the abysmal reviews of this branch, I saddled my steed and set forth with a notable sense of foreboding and trepidation in the direction of the bank. How surprised I was to find a quick efficient service awaiting me. Very smooth experience in spite of the pandemic nonsense and I was in and out in a jiffy. Smashing.
The staff are always working so hard but take time to greet me and are pleasant and helpful everyday. As a business customer I regularly visit this branch and couldn't ask for anything more than the courteous service I recieve consistently.
I went into this branch today and was dealt with by Jo. She was friendly, helpful and assisted me quickly. The other staff seemed attentive and friendly too. Unsure why there are so many negative reviews about this branch.
