Absolutely loved it here. Lovely people both sides of the bar, oozing with history and character. To try and modernise it would be a complete travesty, take it as you find it, immerse yourself, and just enjoy it for what it is. 11/10 One of my favourite pubs in Britain. Well done everyone
Great historical pub, good atmosphere & friendly staff
I haven't visited this pub for over 30 years and apart from the upstairs pool room vanishing, the pub has barely changed. The bar staff and customers are friendly and it was good to visit after such a long time.
What can I say... Came in to The Nags Head just on a whim for a quick pint before food. And found that the staff are so caring and friendly to talk to. They made us feel like we have been here before. Big shout out to Alice and Thomasin!!!!! For making us feel welcome!!! Such a lovely time we have had.. and can't wait to come back down again! If anyone is thinking of coming to The Nags Head, you will feel welcomed and at home with the friendly staff. Can't see how it's 4.5 on Google... GOOGLE REVIEW YOUR SCORE AMD MAKE IT 5.0!!!!!

Friendly welcome, good historic pub in the heart of the town. Great selection of beers, and a window to watch the world go by.
Cosy little pub, pleasant staff, nice beer, and a superb beer garden
Great little pub to visit made to feel welcome by the staff and regulars.
Great hang loose place. Friendly and very open people. So stuff like a visitor's too.tasty Ale and good music. Just inaudible in garden. A lot of space. That was a good fun. I will repeat.
An old favourite of mine, wonderful pub, with a great beer selection, and lovely service!
