Visited at very short notice on a busy Saturday afternoon, the staff were fantastic, friendly and very attentive. They went out of their way to accommodate 9 of us! The food was fantastic and we actually ended up booking for the Sunday dinner too as we were camping nearby. We were able to have the whole annex to ourselves which was fabulous. The food again on the Sunday was really good, well cooked and decent portion sizes. Again I have to thank the staff for being so accommodating and patient with 5 fussy children I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone visiting the area! Thank you! Also I can't forget the 2 friendly dogs!!!
Brilliant experience. The views from the beer garden are fantastic. The food when we went inside was phenomenal! Cauliflower cheese and broccoli, and the Sunday roast were up there with the best I’ve ever had. The Broccoli and cauliflower soup to start was divine.
Very nice, lovely inside and out. Staff were friendly. Roast Turkey dinner was very tasty. Huge Yorkshire pudding . Generous portion size. Lovely, Eton mess.and homemade ice cream deserts . Again good portion size, really appreciate home cooking. First visit to the Windmill. Hopefully will return another time.
Great stop on the way back from Wales in good time to try the Sunday roast. I had the salmon option which was very good and appreciated the fish option. My friend enjoyed their beef classic version very much too. Very friendly service. Cosy atmosphere with logfire. Dogs allowed. Good value for money. Would recommend.
Finally after 5 years of driving past, but never at the right time, saying how beautiful the Windmill looks we have finally managed to visit. The pub is as beautiful inside as out. The staff were so friendly. The service was incredibly efficient and our meal was incredibly tasty. We look forward to visiting again.
We stopped off here for lunch on our way to wales for a holiday. The place looks lovely and is dog friendly so we were happy straight away. We both had the seafood platter which was amazing! Especially the salmon moose and thier homemade tartar sauce! As we enjoyed the main meal so much we decided to have puddings and these were just as good proper homemade and delicious. We are so impressed that we are going to try and stop here again on our way home.
My Wife found this beautiful old pub as it was on our route. Coming from London and staying in Wales for a little holiday, we were all 2 kids included very hungry and so my Wife directed us to the nearest place for food. Really lovely atmosphere, log fires, amazing food and genuinely friendly staff. The views of the surrounding landscape are stunning. Can’t recommend this place enough. Thankyou the Windmill Inn.
Super friendly staff, I felt very welcome. The food was amazing! Best Sunday roast I've had. Top service, would definitely return!

Lovely Sunday lunch. One of the best we've had. Didn't book but pulled in on a trip to Wales. The staff were very helpful in accommodating us.
