I was allocated another dentist here after mine changed her days and WOW the new dentist was so much better! The previous one was very forceful when administering treatment I used to dread going! It was also very hard to understand what she was saying due to her wearing a heavy duty mask. I really hope the new dentist stays there. The reception staff are also much nicer than some who have worked there over the last few years. I would highly recommend!
Had my 1st appointment with a dentist in 4 years today, was registered with a different dentist previously. Was called in early for my appointment and the staff put me at ease, the female dentist I had was professional and reassuring. Thorough exam and xrays carried out. She went through the treatment that was required and the cost. Cannot fault today's experience.
The treatment I received from new young petite female dentist left me traumatised. And it brought back my nightmares from long ago when I lived in Eastern Europe and had brutal dental treatment from a soviet dentist. This visit has brought back fears of dentists which I stopped having about twenty years ago. The treatment was a straightforward small filling. I had brutal local analgesia during which some of anaesthetic leaked in my throat and on my tongue Numbing my throat and tongue after few minutes. Making me feel like I can't breathe and swallow and my tongue fell out of my mouth as I couldn't feel it. I panicked so as a dentist, the emergency call was made, and many people appeared in a room trying to help After about 10 minutes I started get feeling back in my throat and tongue. The dentist was saying that I might be allergic to anaesthetic and may be she needs to refer me to a dental hospital to do my small filling under general anaesthetic. I'm almost fifty years old and had numerous dental treatments in UK and abroad but it is first experience like that in UK. As a health care worker myself I understand the pressure health care workers under. But this experience as a patient made feel like I'm nothing, waste of time, piece of meat, made me afraid for my son who is registered with the same dentist.
More than wonderful service I felt pain in my teeth And I didn't know why, I thought it was cavities After an initial examination at a considerable cost It turned out that there were bacteria and mild decay that needed removal and refilling And I was given medication and antibiotics and the pain went away less than 24 hours after my second visit which was for treatment The whole thing did not take more than a week From booking, initial examination and treatment And the price is very suitable
As a wheelchair issuer directed to this practice via 111 I was extremely grateful to receptionist for her quick thinking how to assist me as I arrived for my appt. Followed by a very very understanding dentist and his very very helpful nurse. All clean and well and feeling loads better
Had a tooth extraction today. Being a nervous patient I was put at ease and cannot fault the care and treatment I received. The reception staff are always friendly and accommodating. If I could award 10 stars I would !!
Underwent treatment for a crown and I cannot fault the service and treatment - I was very well looked after. The dentist and nurse were very reassuring and put me at ease. Very pleased with this dentist, happy to have found a decent dentist at long last! I'll definitely be back. I would recommend to friends and family.
Partner came here, worst service ever has had to come back 9 times to treat one tooth filling, had to wait weeks between appointments in pain where treatment is half completed or had to be reversed. I go to the other mydentist down the road two mile high and have had a much better experience.
Hadn't been to a dentist in few years so decided to go for a check-up and it very pleasant experience. I was kept informed throughout and the staff were all extremely friendly. Will be going back.
I had a tooth removed by Daniel, he was fantastic and really put me at ease. He let me know what he was doing the entire time. The dental nurse was also lovely. Would recommend this dentist.
