100% meat sausages (no rusk, no additives & all gluten free), over 15 choices of mash and wonderful pies and stews. Tuck into some of the greatest burgers in the city, hand packed buffalo, beef, lamb, chicken or veggie.

A nice wee surprise in Edinburgh off the top of the Mile. There were a lot of us, with different demands. Food really good and our server was brilliant especially as one of my three nephews is autistic. I shall return for the pancakes! They were delicious! If you see this cafe, don't be put off with appearances. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Lovely and affordable food, cozy place and the staff is always happy to welcome you and take care of you. Their sweet potato and carrot soup tastes really good and the Mac n Cheese they serve is also delicious. They offer the option of vegetarian haggis for those of you looking for it. You might need to wait outside for a bit to get in. It’s a small place and it get packed easily. Definitely worth the wait and would recommend.

Great place. Simple, hearty homemade food served in very generous portions by friendly, chatty staff who clearly love their work. Venison pie was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Only had filled rolls but the were huge and VERY tasty. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Very reasonably priced.

This place feels like a local secret, such a good vibe with great music going, AMAZING food (treacle tart was SO good!!) and right in the middle of so many interesting things. Loved the style of the cafe, just really good food and great staff. Very friendly to a solo traveller coming in from a rainy Edinburgh day.
