Taxi from my home to my car mot station. The driver was very professional in everyway. He help load my walker into his boot and made sure I was belted and ready before setting off. His conversation was pleasant and enjoyable. His driving good. Making the whole experience great.
These used to be great and reliable, whats happened? If you pre book and pay for a journey it should have priority but not anymore. We tried to use for a hospital appointment but 5 mins after booked time we were told half hour wait and this was at 7am. Had to cancel as would be late and call another company that arrived within 4 minutes .
Absolutely disgusting company. I ordered a taxi to pick me up as I was alone in Leeds. The driver arrived early and picked up somebody else. When I spoke to their office they couldn't care less. The operator even said when I asked had the driver checked who they were picking up, I don't know I wasn't there. Wouldn't recommend this taxi company at all.
I pre-booked a return journey for me, my husband and my two young children aged 10 and 7 to go to a family birthday party in Wakefield. I had booked the return taxis 3 days in advance and my debit card was pre-authorised to confirm the booking. The taxi arrived on time and took us to our destination as planned at 3.30pm on Saturday. Our return journey as booked for 11pm. I looked at my phone at 8.30pm and saw a text sent at 7.30pm saying they had cancelled our return journey!! I called the taxi company and was told they were very busy with lots of bookings and could no longer do our return journey, despite having brought us here a couple of hours earlier and knowing we had young children with us. I said I didn’t think this was acceptable as we had pre-booked and had our credit card pre-authorised for the journey which I mistakenly thought would guarantee our journey. I was told by the operator I could speak to the manager on Monday. Not very helpful when you’re stuck with two kids on a freezing Saturday night. I was then told they could do nothing and the phone was put down on me. I tried calling again to simply have the phone put down on me again and again. So now instead of enjoying our family party I am having to spend hours trying to find a last minute taxi home at an additional expense. So if you need a taxi company you can rely on, I would definitely not recommend Central cars as they will likely just let you down and leave you stranded. At least if they had not accepted the booking in the first place and especially not done half the journey, we would not have been abandoned with two young children and no way to get home.
Great service and price. Booked a taxi from train, driver was at the station before train got, took us to our home. Very polite.Service: Limousines
I was very pleased by the speed that the taxi arrived. He was a nice man and I got home safely, right to my door. Good service, very good service.
Car 54 driven by Ali, was on time. He was polite & got me to my place of work with no trouble. I will definitely use Central cars again.
Got an early morning trip and the driver was very homely and also friendly, he listens to my concern of where to drive as well , thank you central cars
Taxi arrived a little bit early which was great pre booked on the app. Driver was polite and helpful.
A good overall service. The car arrived within a couple of minutes of the booked time and got me to my destination within a good time. TBF, the car was a bit grubby with a fair bit of rubbish in the back. The App worked well and I was able to track my vehicle.
