Great breakfast and hotel restaurant. Some may think this is pricy, but that is all relative. If you are from SF like us, the price is very reasonable for the quality they provide. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
Not up to the standards required for the price. Most especially when a fillet steak priced at €48 is clearly undercooked to the temperature ordered…and when it is brought back to the kitchen…instead of a fresh piece being cooked - the same piece is re-cooked and returned to the table. On top of which starters are more like amuse bouche sized portions For the price or the menu…wine glasses should also not be mismatched on tables and the same question about drinks should not be asked 3 different times by 3 different servers before any food order is taken
Good food, very good service attentive and friendly staff, nice place. has options of wines and for those who prefer also have options of good beers. also a cheese board as dessert very delicious, which could also be considered an entry I think, I found great! I really enjoyed the experience.
The only positive I can take from eating here is, that every restaurant I visit in future, regardless of how bad, will, by default be better, when compared to what was the singular worst dining experience of my life. My appraisal is not limited to comparisons with other restaurants but measured against every meal I have ever eaten. I have gained more enjoyment from hunger than eating here.
Beautiful restaurant with very chic décor. Staff were very impressive and attentive throughout the meal. Very quiet on a Monday evening but given things are just beginning to open up again this is not a big surprise. Food was served super quickly, we were in and out after a three course meal in just over an hour. Unheard of really. The food was very nice, well presented, adequate portions and included some very interesting ingredient combos. Very pleasant place to have an evening meal out in Dublin City centre.
The restaurant is really well Christmas decorated and quite, ideal for a friends night out. Upstairs, there is even a live piano gig for customers. However, the food quantity was very little and overpriced. Also, the quality of the food could be better: we ordered a burger and the bun was not toasted something expected in a burger that costs +30 eur. The starter salad was very poor and the desserts were overpriced 12 eur each. The service is polite but slow for a non-busy night even for a Saturday, many tables were empty around 7pm: we had to wait 40 mins for our desserts. Also, our order was taken incorrectly and we had to claim it at the bill later on. Unfortunately, if we go back, it will be only for drinks and the nice atmosphere, but not the food.
2.5 hour meal. There was no manager present. The food was mediocre at best compared to other restaurants nearby. Mistakes made on all 3 courses. €205 for 2 people. Would not recommend.
A bit disappointed about the food. Sounded nice on the menu but is really not what you expect of a «fine» restaurant. We had Halibut and steak.
Nice restaurant - feels very much like a hotel restaurant. For a grill maybe expecting more types of meat.. But was niceFood: 4/5
Best choice in terms of comfort if you're staying at The Westin. Staff are very professional and the food excellent: tried the Oysters as the starter and the Fillet Steak for the main and both were top notch.
