This Bistro Cafe is a hidden gem serving the most incredible authentic Italian food I have had in a very long time! The owners are Italian of course, which is testament to the delicious meals on offer and they could not be more friendly and accommodating! Highly recommend giving them a visit for dinner on the weekend!!
Cancel your Ryanair flight this summer - there's no need for it. Piccolo Bistro Caffe is random corner of authentic Italy in the most unexpected place. From the coffee, to every ingredient; from the service to the radio station - you leave Ireland as soon as you enter the door and enter a little corner of Italy. I I'm almost reluctant to leave a 5 star review as if everyone discovers it, our secret getaway won't be so secret anymore Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu - nice options and even 'plain' choices for even the fussiest toddler, whilst all still of such high quality, parents will be compelled steal a bite just to taste.... Wheelchair accessibility: The premises is relatively small, and a very slight lip of a step on the way in, but easily got the wheelchair chair in and staff were really helpful in seating
Had a lovely Genovese sandwich and my husband had the club. Both were delish. My son had the spaghetti tomato sauce from the kids menu and the portion was generous. I had an oat cappuccino with chocolate powder and that too was delightful. Service was absolutely friendly and polite. Bathroom is clean and well stocked. They also offer gluten free bread and have good vegetarian and pescatarian options which I appreciate.
The food here is gorgeous! What a little gem!! The owners are so lovely and chatty too. Have been here a few times, and had takeaway too, and every time the food is beautiful. Highly recommend for a wonderful lunch or dinner. Great coffee and cakes too!
Fantastic place and amazing staff. Coffee and food are all perfect! Couldn't recommend it more
Hidden gem! Loved this place!! Very tastefully redecorated. Pleasant staff, and lovely food! Highly recommend this place
Authentic italian food, friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. And, needless to say, the coffee is great!! What more could you want?
I wanted to sit down and have a lunch and a cup of coffee with my laptop. They asked me if I have work to do on my laptop and I said yes. And I’ve been told that it’s not allowed to do that in lunch time. And the place was almost empty. Thank you for the good service!
Member of staff was quite rude and unwelcoming. As I sat outside I was greeted with an abrupt staff member telling me there was no seats left unless I had a booking. Takeaway coffee was average, incorrect order was prepared, and I was made feel like an inconvenience for using the bathroom and having a pram!
Fast friendly service. This is what an espresso should look like, can taste all the flavours from the coffee. Only €2:50
