One of the few good ramen places outside of London. Their miso salmon ramen, although not really an “authentic” Japanese recipe, is to die for. They’ve also got a great kids menu. Decent value for money too— a family of four should be able to dine for about £50 without alcohol.

We arrived Sunday Midday. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. The food was extremely underwhelming. My wife had Wonton Mee which contained chewy yet unchewable pork. My son had Tempura Salmon. The tempura was soft and the salmon was completely unseasoned, as was my daughter's Katsu chicken. The sticky rice was a solid mass. Both my kids meals were flavourless. I had chicken karaage and shrimp with vermicelli noodles. The chicken tasted as if it had been reheated. Aside from that it was OK. £50, though, for a disappointing lunch is a bit of a spoiler. I do want to add that I have been there a couple of times before the restaurant was rebranded and I enjoyed the food on both ocassions. Perhaps the chef was having a bad day? I don't enjoy leaving poor reviews but, unfortunately, it was poor.

You'd need to go far from here to find better sushi and ramen. Very high quality and good portion sizes. Staff are tentative and quick to serve, prices are very reasonable.
