I always approach this place with a degree of trepidation as we usually have a mediocre experience at best. However, as the kids love the deserts and it was their birthday treat, off we went ...nnIn fairness it's probably about 12 months since we last visited and everything was so much better than usual. Miles served us and was polite, helpful and efficient. There were no missing menu items. The salad bar was well stocked. The food arrived promptly and was as good as the likes of TGIs and the desserts were still the best!nnIn fairness, this visit was really very good and absolutely worthy of my 5 stars.
Update: Not sure why the odd reply about the customer. I wasn’t complaining about them. I was complaining about your staff and awful service. The customer was fine. I notice you’re refusing to comment on the service.nnWhere to start! Went there at lunch time, took 10 minutes before someone even came to seat us by the sign that says “please wait to be seated”. I was then put near someone shouting not their fault, possibly neurodivergent of which I am too and so is my friend, but we struggle with noise so had to move. Absolutely nothing against the person shouting but we were made to feel awful about it. I picked Harvester because I was told it was quiet. Again, nothing against the guy shouting but we had to move due to sensitivity to noise ourselves. My friend did take a while to order so the waitress got snappy and blunt with us. We ordered starters which came out hot, the garlic bread was really odd and didn’t taste like garlic. As we were eating our starters, the waitress comes up and asks if we want our mains, I didn’t but my friend said yes. Literally 2 seconds later, out they come and clearly had been sat under the hot lights for a while. Why make them early? Clearly to annoy us or get us to leave. Also, I asked for no pineapple but got it anyway. Also, I thought they had to ask if we had any allergies? When I went to pay, it was ridiculously over priced for what we received. The app doesn’t have half the items on either. Really disappointed. The attitude of the staff was awful and we were made to feel awful for moving tables. Won’t be coming back again.
What a fantastic ‘breakfast with Santa’ experience. Really good value for money, great service, beautiful grotto setting, Santa was really friendly and made an effort with the children. The staff have obviously gone to lots of effort with it. Aggie especially made the experience really nice. Fab food and fab service too. Thank you
Beautiful evening at the harvester tonight, lovely atmosphere and food was fab and very reasonable. Our server Miles was very accommodating and could not do enough for us, we visited during a busy period and he was efficient, helpful and cheerful throughout. Thank you Miles for making our visit extra enjoyable! We will return.
