Excellent Sunday lunch. Having booked a table they rang half an hour before to ask what we would like to order as they had been busy and didn't want us to be disappointed when we arrived. There 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £20 looks interesting as well.

Good beer and friendly people and very good traditional pub.... Haven't eaten here for some time but the food was very good a year ago but I have been told it is very good 👍👍

Friendly family welcome (and dog), cosy atmosphere and nice selection of beers. Food was average at best, got the impression (it being Sunday and we didn't choose the well priced roast) that it was reheated from the day before.

Perfect place for a drink and natter,but not if you go for something to eat,poor veggie options, cost especially if part of a family
