The Globe

About

The Globe, in the heart of historic Warwick, is a warm and friendly pub, restaurant and hotel, serving great food and drinks daily from 8am.

Story

Here at The Globe in Warwick, we’re especially well known for the superb steaks served in our restaurant – but there’s plenty more to discover within our grade II-listed walls.

Our beautiful building first opened in 1788 as the Globe Inn Commercial & Posting House; and we’re handily tucked between Warwick Castle and Market Place, creating a cosy base for history-lovers and shoppers alike.

Our lively bar serves a pleasing variety of well-chosen drinks, including fine wines, local and international beers, cocktails and champagne; while our private dining room provides an intimate space for special occasions.

We also have luxurious hotel rooms so you can stay overnight – each strikingly designed and extremely comfortable. You’ll fall in love the second you see them.

Had a lovely two night stay at the Globe. The service was fantastic, the bed comfy, the area quiet and the wood fired pizza was delicious. Not to mention the delicious hollandaise on the eggs Benny in the morning. I had an early check out to catch a train and the staff even went to the kitchen and got fresh croissants for the trip. Would definitely stay here and eat here again
We stayed overnight in a double room and enjoyed breakfast in the morning. Nice looking place, all the staff we met were friendly and attentive. The lady who was managing breakfast did an excellent job and we noticed how she bent over backwards to keep an older couple happy despite their petty grumbling about not liking sourdough bread or streaky bacon. The patience of a Saint! Maybe our room could have done with a bit of maintenence but it's a 3 star hotel, not 5. Well worth the money and we would stay again
We booked a table for 15-20 people at the Globe on Saturday night for a birthday celebration. The venue was spot on for fun, with a laid back celebratory atmosphere, live music and great pizzas. Thanks so much to all the staff for looking after us so well!
We went in for a lunch sitting. The building is really nice inside and out. The food was great and we were surprised by the pizza oven in the corner. Would certainly go again. Would recommend.
Went here for dinner. It’s in a great location. It’s a big pub with lots of seating choices. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a pretty large table of 7 people. They sat us quickly and we had lots of space around us. The decor was lovely and reflected the theme and vibe of the pub. The drinks were nice. The pint of beer was good and the glass of red wine was delicious. I had a salad bowl with roasted cauliflower. It was delicious. My friends had rump steak, gammon and egg, burger and children’s meal of spaghetti bolognaise. They said the rump steak was delicious but the peppercorn sauce was a bit runny. The gammon was delicious but thought there could be peas served with the meal. The spaghetti bolognaise was delicious but the garlic bread was a bit dry and not much garlic. The burger was great but maybe a few more chips would be good.Overall, the portions were a bit small but we were all full at the end and didn’t need a dessert! The children’s dinner had a brownie for dessert which was delicious. The child dropped a bit of his brownie on the floor and the waiter replaced it with another brownie! That was a nice gesture.nI’d definitely return to eat and drink there. Saw there was a special of bottomless pizza for £15.95 and bottomless Prosecco or Grolsch. That looks like a good deal!!!
