Mill Park

About

Mill Park is a beautiful 25 acre Touring Caravan, Camper and Tent camping site on the edge of Berrynarbour village. Nestled in a beautiful secluded valley.

Story

Mill Park is a sheltered touring caravan and camping site set in an attractive wooded valley on the North Devon Coast. It has a shop, a takeaway, games room, laundry, and has many other useful facilities such as gas-changing and ice pack freezing. There is also an on-site pub. It is surrounded by attractive woodland and is an ideal family site. Being just a short walk to quiet beaches, both sand and pebble. Equally near at hand is the unspoilt and breathtaking beauty of Exmoor. The nearest village, Berrynarbor is just a five minute walk from the site. This village dates back from the sixteenth century and earlier. There is a quaint old country pub, village stores and post office. Buses also pass by the site regularly. We cater for families and couples, and our aim is to create a friendly relaxed atmosphere.

Fantastic. Just that. A gorgeous, well run, accommodating campsite. Great facilities, clean, modern, toilets and showers. And the icing on the cake….The Bent Peg! Quite honestly, the best on-site pub/restaurant I’ve visited. Brilliant staff, a nice atmosphere and the Sunday roast was without equal. Don’t change, Mill Park! You’re doing everything right!
A lovely site for tours and campers. Personally, would prefer a play area that kids could go off and enjoy and make friends but that's just us, no detriment to the site.nHad no noise issues, all pretty quiet by about ten. Well placed for visiting the beautiful North Devon. On site bar that serves decent food and a short stroll through the back of the site brings you to another good pub/restaurant.nAll in all, a good site.
Having just spent a week at Mill Park in our caravan, we have to say what a lovely campsite it is. Perfect location for exploring the North Devon coastline with it's many walking routes. The facilities are top class and always clean and tidy. We enjoyed a superb meal at the Bent Peg restaurant too and this was also extremely good and credit must go to the chef for the tasty meals being offered there. We will definitely return here in the future and would like to say a big well done and thank you to all the staff on site who run and maintain this excellent campsite, from the welcoming reception staff to the maintenance team, who were always busy, the chef and staff at the on site pub and not forgetting the cleaning staff who all make Mill Park a great place to stay.
The site is in a good location easy access if towingnIt is a clean site .we were on the bottom field which is smaller than the top field and flatternThe showers are a bit disappointing as they are push button and only stay on for a few seconds plus the whole of the cubicle floods so don't put stuff on the floor. The shower / toilet block is very clean. There is a bar/ restaurant on site the food was very good plenty of it and tastynThere is a small shop on site and another pub just across the road.nThere is a good chance we will go back in a couple years
This was a beautifully maintained campsite with immaculate facilities. We were left to our own devices and felt we had room to enjoy ourselves.nnWe had a grass pitch in the bottom field, which was huge! We were a group of three tents, and a campervan and millpark were able to place us close to each other, which was nice.nnWe usually like a campfire, but these aren't allowed at this site, so we were thankful for the campervan for a bit of warmth in the evening.nnWe did enjoy a barbecue one night and a meal at the onsite pub the next. There is also another pub just across the road.nnThe onsite shop is well stocked, with no nappies though, so we had to make a trip to the local tescos - 10 minute drive.nnOur only gripe was the road noise. It's near a main road, and the traffic seemed to go on quite late into the night. Though by 5am, the birds were out having a really good sing song!
