I'm glad we went early. Would not like to be there peak season as a couple. Families with children though will love it. Bottom field facilities although immaculate and the showers were hot it needs a refurbish and the washing up facilities are dire, very old and grimy..the bar and restaurant although we did not use has a good reputation for great food and drink.
Took my Mum for Mother's day Roast at the Bent Peg . And we weren't disappointed. Glass of prosecco on the way in and the food was plentiful. Meat was plated and veggies bought out separately which is ideal for the small eaters out there as you can help yourself. Staff were very polite and helpful . Location is set in a very pretty campsite. And restaurant is very modern/ clean / welcoming. All in all definitely worth a visit with good food on offer.
The Mill Park touring park is Amazing! The facilities are top-notch, and site maintenance is superb. I can't believe how well it's set up for the convenience of their visitors. It is a beautiful setting in the most spectacular part of North Devon. 5-Stars...
Just got back from a lovely weekend staying at Mill Park Campsite. We stayed in the Owl Bell Tent and it was just perfect! The campsite setting is just idyllic and we were right next to the lake. The facilities are some of the best I have seen at any campsite I have ever been to and the staff were all super friendly and very helpful. The bell tent has the basics in it, a fridge, light, little table and electric. There are fairy lights dotted around to add to the ambiance. A picnic table and BBQ are all there ready and waiting for you. It's the perfect set up and I would definitely stay there again!
Visited late autumn. Big pitches, facilities were very clean and warm, shop is really well stocked, and the onsite pub has superb food.
Just got back from having a week caravaning at Mill Park. Very well looked after site, friendly staff . Nice little club on site with a nice pint and nice food. Only poor thing for me was the fishing. , over a week more than twenty people fished and only a couple of carp caught between us loads of silver fish but that's fishing I suppose. I would definitely recommend a visit to Mill Park
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mill Park Campsite in North Devon, UK, and it was an unforgettable experience. I was staying at 'Cocoon," which is a wooden tent located just right next to the lake. From the stunning views to the impeccable staff, this campsite exceeded all my expectations and left me with memories that will last a lifetime. One of the standout features of Mill Park is its breathtaking views. Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee or witnessing a mesmerizing sunset, the views are truly amazing. The beauty of the natural surroundings takes your breath away and creates a sense of tranquility that is hard to find at other campsites nearby. The staff at Mill Park deserve special praise for their exceptional hospitality and warm welcome. From the moment I arrived, they were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. The toilet facilities were modern, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean throughout my stay. It's truly a relief to have access to hygienic and comfortable amenities, allowing you to fully relax and enjoy your camping experience. One of the most delightful aspects of staying at Mill Park is the opportunity to explore the surrounding areas on foot. The campsite's strategic location makes it an ideal starting point for venturing out and discovering the local landmarks. In conclusion, Mill Park Campsite in North Devon is a true gem that offers an exceptional camping experience. The stunning views, welcoming staff, perfectly cleaned toilet facilities, and convenient access to nearby landmarks and nature make it an ideal destination for those seeking freedom, relaxation, and adventure. I wholeheartedly recommend Mill Park to anyone who wishes to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature's wonders!
Stayed here on a recent trip to north Devon in our campervan. The facilities are just as pictured in the photos and have been well looked after and very clean throughout. nice and quite as out of season would prefer wider distance between pitches if in summer. The on site pub “The Bent Peg” is a perfect addition to a good site , the food was lovely and the staff were beyond helpful and very personable. Overall so happy with this site would come back if in the area. Food & drinks: Food and drinks on site were reasonably priced and of a great standard.
Well what can I say, the site was awsome one of the best places I've stopped at on a park in a long time. Honestly the cleanest place I've ever been to aswell the toilets, showers were always clean. Infact everytime I went up there it seemed they were being cleaned. Great bar about £5 a pint across the board and food is really nice although topside at £14 a pizza. There is a bus stop right outside which means you are surrounded by two main roads but it is genuinely quiet most of the time. Overall we would definitely go back again in a heart beat, great site, great staff and such a lovely place to be.
We only fished for the day, very nice caravan park the fishing was okService: 5/5
