Lovely place to stay, lovely people including the chap that looks after the hot tub. Cleanliness was our only problem with cutlery looking like it had just been used and put in the drawer, without seeing a tap let alone washing up liquid. Only other minor complaint is that the lodges get light as soon as the sun comes up, so if you like the dark until you wake, take an eye mask. If you like waking when the sun comes up, then ideal. Rooms: Very cosy little cabins. Light floods in as soon as the sun comes up. Take that as you need. Great views and lovely and accommodating people Nearby activities: Various activities but research before you go as different families require different things Walkability: Some great coastal walks for both the fit and not so fit. Some excellent places that you can drive to but others you need to walk to. We loved both. And extremely dog friendly with a lot of doggie poo bins available in most spots. Just don't be the ones that try to hide it under a rock or fling the bag in the hedge or something. That breed doesn't deserve dogs.
Great location right on top of beach front. Great to wake up in morning to the sound of the waves hitting the beach. Very clean accommodation that is ideal for a couples get away - hot tub overlooking the sea is great. Cliff top coastal path into Ilfracombe is worth the walk to see the great views.
The chalets are clean and have lovely views of the bay. We had one with a hot tub, which they check every day and when you leave they drain and clean it ready for the next customer. They are all self service. Had a lovely peaceful few days. Well worth it.Location: 5/5
We stayed in no.25 sea view - Great place to stay with an amazing view and a spotless hot tub to top it off; self-catering facilities were above and beyond what we expected.Rooms: 5/5
This is one of our favourite places on earth. It is so quiet and relaxing we go in Winter and it is so peaceful. The location is stunning and if you get one of the front huts highly recommended, the views are breathtaking and the sound of the sea is magical. The hot tub is amazing and the huts are very clean. We went sea swimming in December and all in all had a lovely stay. The reason I have given 4 stars is because I feel it is becoming a little tired since we first started visiting four years ago. There are no longer robes and there were no complimentary smellies in the bathroom, we had forgotten ours after rushing from work on a Friday. I also would have liked a soft ligting option like a lamp in the living area as the overhead lights are very bright and first thing in the morning when it was still dark outside, the lights were glaring. Despite this, we still love it here and will be returning at the next chance we get - just think a few tweaks are needed to make it feel truly luxury.
We stayed for a long weekend at the beach cove beach huts which were great! Janice was accomodating throughout out stay and the huts are clean, with sea views from both the hot tub and the beach hut. The beach is right infront of the huts and the hot tub was a welcome relief from a January dip in the sea. Lovely costal walk and highly recommend the thatch inn, quaint and lovely food. Had a fab stay and will definitely be back!
Beautiful place lovely apartment very cute and Cosy. It was a very cold spell this week but it was lovely and warm in the accommodation. Beautiful setting. Lovely stay sad it was over Nearby activities: Pub near by and little shop
Want to thank Hoseasons for choosing me as their Valentines Instagram competition winner! I was offered the choice of many different parks, and I chose Beach Cove. We stayed free of charge in a Cairnwood Premier Seaview. It was HEAVENLY. Accommodation immaculate and well-equipped, comfy bed, great shower, staff were just fantastic shout out to Richard!. Highly recommend the Thatched Inn for a pint, and Devon Ghost Tours for a fun & spooky historical evening. Woolacombe is the nicest town nearby. We will be back, thanks so much
We were very lucky to have room number 25, which sits at the end of the row of huts. We felt we had all the privacy and beautiful views. The room is cosy and has everything you need. Having the hot tub was a lovely addition to our stay. In terms of cleanliness, we found the room to be below standard of what was expected. The shower head was covered in black mould, as was the seal on the sink and the grout was dirty. There were cobwebs above the blinds, dead insects and cobwebs in the sky lights above the bed and the blinds just full of dust. The room has many scuff marks and crumbling paint. All of these issues are so easy to fix, with a good clean and a touch up. We did report the condition of the shower to reception. The receptionist was more than apologetic, but on returning back to the room later that day, we felt no improvement had been made. We ended up buying our own cleaning materials to clean the shower head. Overall disappointed, that such a beautiful place has been let down by such simple fixes. Ideally we wouldn't have expected to carry out our own cleaning on our 4 night stay.
The best place to see the sunset and stargazing. It is calm and peaceful, the best lodge to seek solace and serenity.Rooms: 5/5
