Room was cosy, and no place to sit suitcase (apart from floor). Bathroom was a good size, but the shower head was situated for a shorter person (if you're over 5ft 8, expect to crouch to wash face or hair). Bed was comfortable and heating worked well. Friendly staff at reception, concierge and in bar area. Great location - near train station & free bus stop just up the street.

I rarely mark this low, here's why I did: first night was ok though everything is a bit tired and old.  Second night, my wife sent me a Valentine's gift and they made no effort to let me know or take it to my room. Didn't know until my wife called. Then the room was so cold that evening it woke me and I had to request an extra heater. Breakfast was pretty awful both mornings and they made no effort to accommodate gluten free requirement. I'd recommend avoiding here. I won't stay here again.

Great stay but one of the staff was a bit inpatient towards me and another guest when we tried to enquire. Restaurant staff were amazing. Although you have to pay £3 to leave your luggage at concierge which is ridiculous, the gentleman who was at the concierge desk waived the fee for me and my team. If I had a choice, I'd rather try another hotel in the city

Stayed for one night and met such a lovely lady in the reception Ms. Jolle from Bermuda. A long talk of more than an hour made our stay the most memorable. Such a sweet & loving human being we rarely do meet & hit it off in an instance. Have invited her to come to Nepal & stay as our guest. Loved the hotel, it’s location & the spacious rooms

Corporate 1990s decor hell combined with staff that make not caring an Olympic sport and room heating that would only be useful in a walk-in commercial freezer make this a stay to be forgotten.
I was lucky that I didn't realize that the bed could be moved otherwise I'd have been sleeping in the corridor in order to keep warm.
When I asked how to heat the room they repeatedly told me to stick the thermostat on 21. This is how they earnt their Gold medal in 'not caring' (or your favourite euphemism).
