Team were AMAZING when I muddled my booking up. So kind and helpful. Beautiful setting and the room was outstanding. Quiet with good curtains to keep light out. Concierge very happy and helpful. What a difference courteous and friendly teams can make to a customer! Something special going on here!

The best hotel I've stayed in; full stop. I've stayed in almost all of their competitors in Manchester, and other five star hotels and London, and they're a cut above anywhere else. Don't think about it, book a room. You won't regret it.

Lovely place stunning rooms and decor. Had my hen party here and my party was upgraded to executive rooms all next to each other which was lovely. Staff were generally nice until we went to the restaurant. They were rude to us and cancelled our table the manager finally agreed to let us sit as there was 7 of us on a 3 course meal! The food was lovely but he service was appalling. We was continually ignored, the staff took the food order before we had even ordered any drinks! We had to ask! That was the only time anyone asked us for drinks. My friend couldn't eat any of the limited options on the menu so asked if she could have some chicken... thats literally all she got! A plate of chicken! No garnish, sauce or even decoration. The veg she paid extra for was dropped on the floor, the chicken itself was cold and had to be recooked - which took over 40 minutes! The rest of the table had eaten by then. I finally decided to ask speak to a manager as I really did not enjoy my meal as a result and the poor service had ruined the experience for us all. Alistair was the manager I spoke to and I have to say he was lovely. He was so friendly and understandable and started to get things in order - he should be running that hotel! Very kindly he gave us a round of drinks on the house and accepted that I wasn't paying for the chicken. After that the empty plates were not cleared and staff merely just stood around chatting - mostly about my party it would seem as the kept glancing over and laughing. We didn't enjoy it at all and was put off deserts so just asked for the bill. It came quickly enough with the chicken and sides included at a total of £25.50!! To add insult to injury they also added a 10% service charge! Alistair had also arranged an area in the members lounge for us to have a drink in and we went up there and sat without a drink for an hour whilst my friend waited at the bar to be served. She was consistently ignored. We finished the one drink and chose to go to another bar close by. Overall I think the night was a disappointment and particularly with it being my hen night as well it was even more upsetting. I had always wanted to stay at this hotel and paid a lot of money to be there. I just feel a bit deflated now as it wasn't the experience I had anticipated and we were all very much let down.

Quirky boutique hotel with a lovely bar with views overlooking the city. Amazing friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Fantastic location and highly recommended.

We visited Gotham as a guest of a member for some drinks in the nice weather. We sat outside and it was perfect. Alastair, the gentleman who greeted us on arrival, was particularly lovely.
